Have been there several times, service and staff attentiveness has been fantastic. Ingredients are all fresh, menu items all have a cool twist to them. Coffee, great - not bitter or watery - right down to the milk that's textured and not all foamy. Out on the sheltered paving, it's a great place to sit out of the traffic. Highly recommended.

I went to try this cafe out as it was recommended by a “foodie” friend. At first glance it was a cosy warm fit out followed by a warm welcome by the owner Michael. The order was taken promptly and the breakfast was sensational. The Coffee and fresh OJ was also amazing . 5 out of 5 star for these guys. Definitely the best local cafe around.

Went by here as an afternoon treat nearby and the staff were lovely. Our waiter went above and beyond to make sure everything was good and was so friendly. The music was a bit loud inside but we sat outside in the sunshine and it wasn't too bad. Definitely recommend, we'll be returning

I don't even know where to start. Even with a booking made, they were unprepared for new customers as almost all of the empty tables were still dirty.

After a 15 minute wait, we finally got the drinks we ordered only to find that almost all of the drinks were incorrect. This happened both times we ordered drinks and both times the elderly waiter Michael came over seeming quite disgruntled to correct the mistakes. The lack of service wasn't specific to the drinks though, as the food we ordered took almost an hour to arrive. When it eventually did, the servings were quite small and inadequately prepared. Some items were luke warm and some were overcooked. Even when the food started to arrive, it took an extra few minutes until we were actually given cutlery to eat with.

Vastly overpriced for what was given, as a single Eggs Benedict with mushroom and spinach cost $40. Overall, the bill for 5 people was $250 for what was a thoroughly disappointing experience.

Throughout the experience, we were graced with the sounds of the old waiter Michael yelling and swearing at the other staff. Not even to mention the coffee, which he used a pre-made shot of coffee which he poured from a squeezy bottle. Personally I feel that a cafe should probably serve fresh shots of coffee, as opposed to the room temperature coffee that he probably made yesterday.

When we went to pay and offered feedback (as any proper business should want), we received a scathing look and no apology.

I will never get that hour and a half of my life back and regret going...

Starting from the beginning we made a booking and then when we arrived they seemed confused and had to rearrange tables to seat our booking number. The service was really slow with us having to fight for attention to make orders. When the orders came out they were wrong. So far we’re at slow and wrong orders and it’s been an hour.. haven’t got food yet. The food came out and it wasn’t satisfactory for the price (one eggs benedict coming out at $40) and left everyone not wanting more (because of small portions and not great quality). At the end of the meal when asking if they wanted feedback the server Michael was rude not only to us, but to the other staff. Overall, I would give less than one star if possible and wouldn’t recommend unless you want bad service, average food, and a $250 order...

Upon arrival we were met with confused staff that despite me booking the day before with Michael didn’t have a table for five. After scrambling to accomodate us we waited for 15 minutes to be asked for drinks. We tried to order with a waiter had little English so we pointed to the drinks menu to order. They arrived ten minutes later..three of five orders incorrect. We waited a full hour for very average food another incorrect drink order despite Michael ‘the owner’ making them. Service was terrible but I must say they were stressed.Michael was obviously overtly intimidating his staff. After this regrettable lunch I was charged $250. Coffee made from espresso in a squeeze bottle. A message to Michael….maybe spend more time improving quality of service and food instead of socialising outside...
