Booked for a table of 5 on a Sat 10:30am - well in advance. Highly recommend booking as it was very busy when we arrived - both for seated service and takeaway. It’s well presented food in an aesthetic modern spot. You are paying what you would expect for a spot that’s blown up on socials and located within the burbs. There’s plenty of seating inside and outdoors. Outdoors is a dog friendly space which is a plus for fur parents. Food wise I ordered a smashed avo with poached egg and smoked salmon. My companions ordered a smashed avo and poached egg, the hotcakes, winter fritters with bacon, and the Turkish eggs with halloumi. Everything was so fresh and tasted so good. The favourite part of my dish was the beetroot tahini. It just went so well with everything on the plate. I highly recommend adding the smoked salmon as it adds some more flavour. The texture of the pepita seeds (?) - unsure what it was - went so well with the food and gave me a break from the mushy textures of the meal (the toast was soaked by the avo so lost some of its crunch!) but overall it was a good dish. Friend also offered me some of her halloumi - at times it can be served super rubbery at other places. This one was perfection. Everyone seemed really happy with their dish. We later ordered smoothies. I went for the “North” while they chose to go for “East”. I have to say I liked the flavors and sweetness of the “East” more but I liked the strong lime flavour that came through, and the mix of this with the coconut milk in “North”. Overall, I paid about $50ish inclusive of my smoothie, my coffee with additional cost for oat milk, and the additional dish sides of smoked salmon and a poached egg. The smoothie was a steep $12 with the 10% tax as I mentioned, it was expected. I would be back to try their pulled pork benedict and maybe some of their lunch options too! + additional info: Parking is available in local streets and limited parking spots are avail right in front. It’s all one level so it’s accessible in this sense, however I’d say it’s very narrow inside for some spots where it would be hard to get a walker or trolley in. I’m sure if it was raised you’d get an appropriate spot.

We enjoyed our brunch at Eastwood — was a very light but filling and nutritious meal. Plus, we had such great and friendly service! We had the: ▪️SHAWARMA SPICED CAULIFLOWER — roasted spiced cauliflower, beetroot tahini, kale, cranberry and chickpea salad, feta, pomegranate & cumin dressing, toasted almonds ($22.50) with halloumi ($5.50) and salmon ($7) ▪️BREAKFAST GREENS — sautéed greens, pumpkin hummus, poached eggs, toasted seeds ($19) with chicken ($7) ▪️EAST SMOOTHIE— mango, passion fruit, banana & pineapple with almond milk ($11) ▪️SOUTH SMOOTHIE — blueberries, banana, dates & boysenberries with almond milk ($11) Firstly, we absolutely underestimated the portion size because it was packed- soo filling! The spiced cauliflower was such a balanced dish- love the crunch from the chickpeas and kale as well as the sweetness from the cranberries. The breakfast greens was a well rounded dish, probably our favourite dish of the two. I would love to go back and try their other menu items like their Turkish eggs, curried sweet potato fritters, burrito bowls… so much to choose from! Absolutely love their extensive menu options, from your brunch staples to some ones you wouldn’t normally see on every brunch menu.
