Update (Sept '24): Food has gotten a bit better again, though prices have gone up 30-40% and fish size has gone down ~50%. Acceptable when you're hankering for some fish and chips but not what it used to be. Also, don't get the schnitzel burger.

Update (Sept ‘22): One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had from any fish and chips in my life!

Charged additional to change to blue grenadier (even though they’re listed at the same price and I had never been charged before). Fried fish was downright fishy and full of bones, grilled fish had more batter than fish, just enough chips for one adult (in a “pack for 3”), dimsim and potato cake were crispier than burnt toast.

They were still good after changing owners and during the pandemic. Hopefully just a freak accident but I won’t be going back anytime soon for another try.

(Oct ‘21) Hands down best fish and chips in Glen Waverley and the neighbouring suburbs. Never had a bad experience in my many visits here.

Got the 'Pack for 2' from here last Friday night and it was filling and delicious! My partner and I shared the 2 flakes, 2 potato cakes, 2 dim sims and chips together for dinner. The flakes were fresh and cooked perfectly like others have said. The other items were great too. This was the first time I had ordered from here - I just called up and my partner went to pick it up. The staff were so friendly and took the time to explain what was in the pack I was ordering even though they were so busy! Wait time was 25-30 mins but that's expected on peak time Friday night. We ordered souvlakis and they were honestly the worst souvlakis we’ve ever had. Used to be really good from here a few years ago but theyve gone downhill. Half the souvlaki was empty, barely any meat, and lamb was still half raw, this was consistent with all 3 souvlakis.
