Best food in Melbourne 🤤🤤🤤

Pepperstone - A Modern Australian Breakfast and Brunch Delight

Pepperstone, a delightful restaurant tucked away in the heart of the city, offers a refreshing and modern twist on Australian breakfast cuisine. With its inviting ambiance, attentive service, and an array of innovative dishes, Pepperstone has firmly established itself as a go-to spot for those seeking a memorable breakfast experience.

As soon as you step through the doors of Pepperstone, you're greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The sleek and contemporary decor, combined with soft lighting and comfortable seating, creates a cozy yet stylish environment that sets the tone for a pleasant meal. The staff, known for their friendly and professional demeanor, go above and beyond to ensure every guest feels well taken care of from start to finish.

Now, let's delve into the star of the show—the food. Pepperstone's menu is a tantalizing fusion of traditional Australian breakfast staples and innovative culinary creations. Whether you're a fan of classic dishes or enjoy experimenting with new flavors, there is something here for everyone. From the moment your order arrives, you'll be enthralled by the expert presentation and attention to detail.

One standout dish is their "Avocado Dream" toast—a mouthwatering combination of smashed avocado, tangy feta cheese, and a perfectly poached egg atop a slice of crusty artisan bread. The flavors harmonize beautifully, creating a creamy and satisfying taste sensation. Another must-try is the "Brekkie Bowl," a vibrant and nutritious medley of fresh fruits, granola, chia seeds, and yogurt, guaranteed to kick-start your day with a burst of energy.

Pepperstone also excels at offering unique dishes that push the boundaries of traditional Australian breakfast fare. The "Breakfast Burger" is a prime example—a succulent beef patty topped with crispy bacon, a fried egg, melted cheese, and smothered in a tangy house-made sauce. It's a delightful departure from the ordinary, and the flavors meld together in perfect harmony.

For those seeking a lighter option, Pepperstone offers an impressive array of freshly squeezed juices and smoothies that cater to various dietary preferences. The "Green Goddess" smoothie, made with spinach, kale, pineapple, and coconut water, is a refreshing and rejuvenating choice that packs a nutritious punch.

While Pepperstone's food unquestionably steals the spotlight, the attention to detail extends to their beverage selection. The expertly brewed coffee and artisanal teas are the perfect accompaniments to your meal, with their robust flavors and aromatic profiles.

The only minor drawback to note is that Pepperstone can get quite busy during peak hours, resulting in slightly longer wait times. However, the overall quality of the dining experience more than compensates for any minor inconveniences.

In conclusion, Pepperstone stands out as a top-notch restaurant offering a modern take on Australian breakfast cuisine. With its inviting ambiance, attentive service, and an array of mouthwatering dishes, it's an excellent choice for anyone seeking a memorable breakfast experience. Whether you're a local resident or a visitor to the city, make sure to add Pepperstone to your list of culinary...

Visited Pepperstone Cafe for the first time this week - I'm kicking myself for having lived in the area for a whlie but not having checked it out sooner! Beautiful little cafe, peaceful and calm with a very welcoming and cheerful team. I started with the dandelion and turmeric latte because I always like to try something different; not sure I could taste the dandelion but the flavour was excellent and well-balanced. For a very late breakfast/brunch I ordered the French toast and a side of the Kaarage chicken with aioli (ordering when very hungry is a dangerous thing!). I usually avoid things like French toast as they can be quite sickly sweet but Pepperstone has the syrup on the side and only lightly pre-flavours the dish. Excellent flavour and the poached pear was a beautiful texture and made for really enjoyable meal. The kaarage chicken was a perfect contrast - hot, crisp and a good savoury balance. Needles to say, I ate everything and was a bit sad (but very full) that that was all. Price was very afffordable for all that I ordered and I would definitely be happy to come back on more...

The cafe is located infront of the station. Modern, natural light and spacious.

Coffee beans are CLARK ST COFFEE, Mastermind, seasonal espresso. Medium roast, smooth, fresh after taste and hint of acidity👌 ☆3 It's seasonal best coffee beans which means the characters of taste will be different next season😕

Very creative💡 They have many unique dishes on the menu. The titles on the menu and the actual dishes are totally different and aren't authentic at all yet my dish French toast was nice and not too sweet😋

Sauce of Soba was used for chilled egg noodles (hiyashi chu-ka), having it in the summer in Japan. I've never tried the sauce with Soba. Weird but it worked ok👌 I just like the traditional tastes of soy sauce based Soba sauce. May be the creator got the idea from the name but hiyashi soba and hiyashi chu-ka tastes totally different things😅

The same things as other dishes but nice try😄🥉✌️

All staff are attentive...

There was a lovely message of support written on the front window. The seats had been moved around so that there was significant room between the tables. It felt unusual for a cafe, but it was appreciated. There was also plenty of hand sanitiser available. The coffee was amazing, and although there was no vegan options mentioned on the menu, the smashed avocado was able to be made without egg or cheese. I'm assuming in replacement of this I had extra avocado added. It was presented beautifully, and there was so much of it that I had to request a take away container to finish it later. The staff were kind and looked after us well. The meals and coffee were prepared and brought out to us rather fast. I'd definitely come back here!
