OCCURED 27th OCTOBER 2025 1:46PM - 2:40PM Absolutely disgusting service. We placed 3 online orders AND had a replacement order, and honestly this was one of the worst fast-food experiences ever. The girl at the window — apparently the “manager” — had the worst attitude I’ve ever seen. Super rude, rushing us to park, no manners at all. We waited over 30 minutes in the waiting bay and still got NOTHING. We drove back around and asked for the manager, and surprise surprise — it’s the same girl with the disgusting attitude, arguing with us saying we didn’t have a replacement order. She literally said, “If you go down to the next window you can ask them, I’m not in charge of it so instead of arguing with me go down there, it’s not hard.” Like… excuse me? This is how you speak to paying customers?? When we got to the next window, the girl there was polite and apologised (thankfully someone had some manners), saying they “couldn’t find the car.” There’s literally ONE waiting bay — where exactly were they looking? After waiting an hour for “FAST FOOD,” another girl with a terrible attitude told us to move to the front because we were “holding up the line.” Sorry, but that’s not our problem — maybe get your orders right and your staff trained properly. Honestly, this store is a joke. The so-called manager needs serious customer service training because this was beyond unprofessional. If you can’t talk to customers respectfully, maybe don’t work in hospitality. Horrible experience from start to finish. 😂😂 Learn how to treat customers or don’t bother working there. Welcome to flavour country!

This is the second Guzman y Gomez location I've tried, and so far they've been great. The concept itself is brilliant, especially in Australia, with Mexican food generally underrepresented across our dining scene.

The menu selection is laid out cleverly, you can select from the usual favourites, and customise to your heart's content. The food is fresh and bursting with taste. The ingredients are fairly high-quality by fast food standards. In terms of pricing, at least at the moment - it's marginally more expensive than Maccas and Hungry Jack's, and give or take, on par with KFC and Red Rooster. The portions are generous, and with the quality and real food ingredients, you get a great feed, and remain satisfied for a long time.

Whilst technically being fast food, it feels more of a hybrid between that and a casual Mexican restaurant. Bright, generally clean and tidy, and friendly... My only caveat on the cleanliness, is the 'Salsa Station' (an extra condiments station within the dining area). Brilliant idea and welcome, as long of course, that your typical punter can behave themselves, and refrain from acts of slobbery. Time will tell, and management will need to remain vigilant, and keep right on top of cleanliness and hygiene.

As added bonuses - the coffee they serve is surprisingly good, and if you're hankering for a beer on a warm afternoon, they've got you covered.

Disgrace to food. Never have I ever tasted worse GYG, let alone fast food. This place should lowk be demolished and replaced by literally anything else. First of all, there is a clear trend towards hiring women only, I have been here 10+ times giving it so many tries and have only seen 1 man ever. There is always something wrong with the food, be it small serving sizes, burnt meat, cold temperature there is always something wrong. Also they have this specific strategy to take orders from drive thru instantly and let people who walk in wait for 30m+, they literally made ambulance workers who walked in wait 40m+ for like a couple items. Several people were trying to go to counter to ask about their order but no one even came to ask them what their question was. Staff are sometimes so lazy they will tell you their hot chocolate machine is broken because they are too lazy to start it up, this always happens past 11:00pm. If you’re getting delivery, don’t bother LOL. I ordered from this place on DoorDash and they gave my order to some random who wasn’t my driver, and when I spoke to them they were sassy, said kitchen was now closed and asked me to talk to the driver who told me to talk to them (the driver was nice though), I litteraly had to wait an hour to get a refund from DoorDash till the point where nothing else besides McDonald’s was open nearby.
