Read moreVery disappointing experience from the moment we sat down which was already a big red flag. We always go to the eatery next door “Rustic Artisan” which is 10000% times better in all aspects, don’t bother coming here. You’ll thank me. Firstly, when we arrived I asked if we can have a table in the courtyard because we had our dogs with us. Then a rude staff attendant proceeded to ask if I had a booking, to which I responded no. He then proceeded to tell me that they were fully booked. The courtyard was visible from the entry and it wasn’t even near capacity. In fact, the entire vicinity was 85% empty? Best of all, I was there for approx 35 minutes and during this time, there were plenty courtyard tables empty. Exemplary customer service, clearly. To top this all off, the food was even worse. I’m genuinely baffled at the 5 star reviews, surely they were paid for?? There’s no other explanation. I had to drown my scrambled eggs in tomato sauce to make it even remotely edible (btw if you want sauce, you’ll have to wait 10 minutes, I had to ask multiple times) and I ended up actually going to the counter to request this. ALSO WARNING!! I FOUND A HAIR ON MY MEAL AND DO NOT ORDER THE ROSTI!!! Literally tasted like sewage. 🤢 Honestly, this is a precautionary warning for anyone that doesn’t want to waste their money, I would rather skip 10 meals than eat from here...
Read moreMy husband and I just went to this cafe. We were told to sit outside and someone will serve us but this didn't happen so I went up to order. I ordered two American egg and bacon rolls but one on gluten free bread and a juice and small coffee. I paid $30 at the counter. When I went back to the table, the girl that served me came out and said sorry but I haven't charged you the correct amount for gluten free bread so can you please pay the difference on the way out. I felt sorry for her as it was the chef that told her that we had to pay more. How ridiculous! When the egg and bacon toasties arrived at the table the gluten free one had no cheese and no mayo like the other one. The lady who didn't even serve me said "no you diidn't order that, you need to specify that you wnat cheese, etc.." which I had. She was so rude and wanted to have an agument with me. They took the gluten free one back and added cheese and mayo. On the way out we went to the counter to pay the difference for the gluten free bread and got charged an extra $9. That means we paid $39 for four items. It works out that I got charged $20.50 for the gluten free toastie where the exact same one but non gluten was $7.50. I will never go back there ever again. You have also lost my school mothers group that...
