Canât fault the pizzaâs always fantastic. (Risotto on the other hand, I wouldnât waste your time)
Last night after ordering on menulog (which they always put a highly incorrect time frame on, eg 25-35 minutes and then send a confirmation of around an 1 hour 30 mins every time.) That aside we got all necessary confirmations. âThumbs up from the restaurantâ on the app, confirmation email, funds taken from our account and a notification that the driver was on their way within our allocated time frame. (Ordered at 7:10pm delivery bracket 8:35-8:55pm)
30 minutes past our latest arrival time my husband called the restaurant. Greeted by a rude man who informed him our order went out ages ago. Then quickly amended that story to someone called from our street and cancelled an order so it mustâve been ours (we live on a very long street and know no one so this wasnât done on our behalf)
After disagreeing with my husband said âheâd send it outâ. Which he did. However the lack of care, apology for there fault or accountability was astounding.
As weekly customers itâs a pretty big turn off.
We have dealt once on the phone and once in store with who we believe to be the same man, customer service is key and goes such a long way. This man hasnât got any let alone manners!
However the driver that delivered the order deserves every cent from that order. He was lovely and couldnât apologise enough. Maybe the senior staff need to take note...
   Read moreI donât know what has happened to Henry Hurst, itâs been our local go to pizza place for a few years now and we have never been let down like we were today. At first I had to repeat my order half a dozen times (in person, not over the phone) and each time it was repeated incorrectly back to me, towards the end I wasnât confident if I would get what I actually ordered and I wasnât wrong. The pizzas were on the cold side to begin with while the garlic bread was really hot, so I guess they forgot to cook the garlic bread with the pizzas. There were toppings missing from the pizzas that we normally order and the extra toppings I requested were not there, the toppings looked liked theyâd just been thrown on, as the presentation wasnât how it normally is. We are so disappointed and canât see ourselves returning...
   Read moreI received some pretty serious food poisoning last weekend. It was the night before my 30th, which meant I left my own party at 8:30pm to go to bed because I was so unwell. Vomiting for 15 hours. 5 days later and Iâm still recovering. Very disappointed. Left a message to let the manager know this had happened in the hope that it would prevent future illness for others, they returned with a message explaining that their food is fresh and there havenât been any other complaints so my sickness mustnât have been caused by their food. It was the only thing I had eaten since lunchtime and the vomiting started about 3 hours after eating a half bbq chicken, half prawn pizza. We certainly will never be returning which is a huge shame as we have enjoyed eating here...
