Shame about the negative reviews from the past because they don't at all reflect the experience we had today.
Service:
Ok, so it's "just" a small cafe but the service was fast, efficient and friendly and the coffee was great. Not to mention the coffee came out within a minute (yes, a minute). I also ordered a takeaway coffee while paying for our meal and had it in my hand barely before I had a chance to tap my card. Can't deny it - that's impressive.
Food:
Food was yum and brought to us quickly - we had the Chili Scramble and Eggs Benedict. Both were good. Nice to hear our server acknowledge that Eggs Benedict doesn't come with spinach unless requested.
Location:
Lots of space for our furry friends to sit outside. This is a seemingly minor but welcome detail since some cafes in 2025 still don't get it. Dogs are simply part of our families now. Get used to it.
Atmosphere is "lacking" but only because they're on a busy-ish road, so no fault of theirs. Also excellent to see local artists represented by having their works on the wall and available for sale.
Lastly, being within a minute or so walk of Rosanna Parklands means you can eat or grab coffee then go walk them both off.
For a cafe with one barista and 2 servers, this is great. We'll be...
Read moreI came here over 2 months ago and still feel terrible about the experience I had. That's how long it's lingered for me. I have been telling friends and showing them just how textbook awful my experience was. I was "Served" by a rude man in glasses and then waited an ungodly amount of time while I watched this guy yap it up with people standing around. I mean just look at the pancakes I got served for lunch - not cheap mind you. They didn't even dain to crumble the biscoff properly, haphazardly threw in a few unwashed berries and then called it a day. It's a good thing pancakes taste good no matter how you treat them but this was just awful. I'm more offended by the man who served me being so off-game the entire time, and he seemed to be rushing along other staff members. If you support hospitality workers reconsider, whoever runs this place is causing major...
Read moreSuper busy cute local cafe, has a lot of pluses and a few negatives that can be fixed. Been back a few times and can say the mushroom breaky is delicious. The toasties were a bit of a let down though, wasnt expecting to have shredded chicken textured like tuna in my chicken toasty. My friends ham cheese toasty was surprisingly small for the price. Coffee has been consistently good and staff are friendly. Not having a bathroom onsite or any public toilets nearby is a deterrent to returning unfortunately. Nice to sit inside by the window or outside. Warning that the outdoor seating can get impossibly hot and sun too strong during summer,...
