I love Vietnamese pho. I tried pho in both Sydney and Melbourne and visited five Vietnamese restaurants. This one is the best!

The pho noodles are soft. The beef brisket, sliced beef, and beef balls come in just the right amount. The brisket is not paper-thin, and the beef is tender, flavorful, and well-cooked. The soup is clear, slightly sweet, and has a nice herbal taste. It’s not oily at all. After eating, I didn’t feel thirsty, which means the food is natural.

I also tried the crispy pork rolls. They had a good amount of vegetables and tasted very traditional. Because the pho and spring rolls were so delicious, I also ordered the fresh prawn rice paper rolls. They didn’t come with fish sauce, but the special dipping sauce was a perfect match. The rice paper was soft, and the prawns were fresh.

This restaurant offers a real Hanoi-style Vietnamese taste. The owner and staff are very friendly. The place is clean, spacious, and comfortable.

I later found out they really care about food quality. The herbs they use are home-grown and organic. Even the young coconut they serve is carefully chosen — very sweet and full of coconut flavor.

Highly...

Slightly off the main Sydney Road strip at Brunswick is a homely café – The Edible Café.

I was invited to try a few menu items with friends over a Saturday brunch/lunch period.

There is a nice mix of standard café items with some fun menu choices designed to please most taste preferences. I couldn’t resist getting the fried chicken and waffle stack. Surprisingly to me, I managed to finish it all and thoroughly enjoyed it. The fried chicken was well crumbed, cooked to perfection and juicy. It complimented the waffle, bacon and maple syrup. My friends enjoyed their chicken burger in the beetroot coloured bun and the chicken tacos.

Coffees and juices were also delicious. Service was friendly and attentive, and there was a great atmosphere with the customers. The Edible Café has a warm homely feel to it and you’ll feel welcome as soon as you enter the doors.

The food here is amazing , I had been here very often. For the first a couple times, we visited the place. I had always get a good impression from the lady who managing the front of house.

But for the last couple times we visited had been quite a bad service from front of house guy. For the last 3 times I visited, and has been served by him. I has been getting passive aggressive from him every time I visited. And most of his behaviors are unnecessary rude.

At first, I was ignoring that part. Because I think he might have a bad day. So I wasn’t trying to take it seriously. And the other stuff members are really lovely to us. Especially the chefs.

But after today’s experience, which I had a bad experience and all the passive aggressive from him again. I’m starting to think that this is unacceptable. And this place is used to be our favorite place to come by. So it such a shame that we got this...

Matcha Mango Magic & Cozy Café Vibes This Matcha Mango drink is an absolute delight — the creamy matcha layer perfectly balances the sweet, tropical mango base. It’s smooth, refreshing, and not overly sweet — just the right mix of earthy and fruity. The presentation is beautiful too, with the bright green and golden layers making it almost too pretty to drink! 💚🥭✨ The café itself has such a warm, relaxed vibe — sunlight coming through the windows, soft music in the background, and a cozy, friendly atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer. It’s the kind of place where you can unwind, read, or catch up with friends while sipping something truly special. Definitely a hidden gem — both the drink and the space make it worth coming back for! 🌿
