Hungry Jack's Burgers Croydon — Restaurant in Melbourne

Even after I get my burger home look how fresh and delish it looks, and tasted mouthtastic. I go to one near work sometimes (southern cross) and it’s always total disappointment but this one is 10,000 times better. The staff are totally nonchalant but they get my order right even if it’s complicated. Keep it up lads.

Update 3/3/23. I have had to downgrade to 4 stars, I still like the food here and pretty good service but they just cannot read a ticket. I got to the drive thru window today and was sure to check my burger if it had the right amount of patties and it was wrong and this is apparently the norm, I can’t leave the store until I check the order is all correct as last time I had to drive back to the store from home to get what I paid for.

Update 24/3/23. So as a follow up to my last review about not reading tickets. Today I rock up and have ordered a triple whopper jr. I’m the only one in the drive through and it takes ages, when it finally comes it feels so obviously light. I check it straight away and it’s a regular single whopper jr. Not even close and nobody noticed. So I’m waving my arms around and have to honk the horn to let them know it’s wrong to get it replaced. I have no choice but to downgrade again, to 3 stars.

Update: 2/5/23. Where the quality control with tomato.. what can I do with this little hard end knob, tomato is value at 25c if you add extra, certainly wouldn’t want to end up with this chode if I paid the extra. Also burger was cold today. Onion rings crucified, like they were twice dipped to reheat?, hope not. gross. Downgrade to 2 stars. (Started at 5). EARN IT BACK!

Update 14/7/23. I ordered a bacon deluxe and the bacon deluxe did not have bacon. Like ordering an eggs Benedict and getting no eggs. Downgrading to 1 star. (Started at 5).

I bought not only one time in this Hungry Jack’s Croydon to leave this review. It was really bad experience here. I love Caramel Fudge Iced Coffee in Hungry Jack’s!This is my favourite drink but in this branch was super light than other Hungry Jack’s even the caramel and coffee shot.

I did drive thru to pickup meal here every time and just wanna talk about what happened today. I created an online order and click drive thur button on the app around five minutes before I arrive. When I arrive was nobody in the drive thur queue and the staff told me to wait at the end of the parking bay. I parked in front of the front door and wait for my order at around 9:30. However, I saw no customer in the restaurant when I parked and I don’t know why I still have to wait over 10 minutes, but at the end I received the order was missing item in the bag. That’s not a big order, only one Turkish brekky Roll, two hash browns and one Caramel Fudge Iced coffee. I have to go into the restaurant because 1 hash brown was missing and the staff who at the counter one, every-time I saw her keep talking not nice and long face even she did something wrong. I think Drive thru is for user friendly to make pickup easily. Please remember that wasn’t my first time being here. Disappointed with the staff who not doing well of the job and the Iced coffee like a milk more than coffee.

Date/time of visit: 20 June 2020, 10:15pm Waited in drive thru for 6 minutes with 2 cars in front and a nice queue forming behind me. No apologies when I arrived at the window. Server started preparing a drink when I arrived (for someone else since I didn't order a drink). Paid $7, ordered 2 cheese burgers. When I get home, one of the cheeseburgers contained onion rings, but packaging only said cheeseburger. Lack of attention to detail, lack of consideration to those waiting, lacking ideas to move those waiting at the window out of the way to fulfil the quick orders. Were they Uber/Uber equivalent holding up the queue? DO NOT give me URL to follow - I've seen tge other reviews where the response is too follow a URL (I don't follow them for security reasons).

Update 7 July 2020: Hungry Jacks just replied to this review. I feel they didn't pay attention to detail (read the last sentence of my review, above). They have enough details above: date, time, location, how the food was ordered, the problem encountered, and there are obvious ideas there to focus on...
