Johnny Boys Pizza and Pasta - Frankston — Restaurant in Melbourne

I am genuinely sorry to offer the following negative experiences by way of feedback for Johnny Boys Pizza, Tower Hill, Victoria. Real and genuine regret because I thought I had found, after a long time of searching after moving to the Peninsula area, a pizza delivery of high standard in all regards from the pleasant and efficient phone manner when the order is placed to the promptness and excellent service in delivery of hot, beautifully prepared meals, the high standard of fresh, quality ingredients and the wide array of menu choices.

NO MORE CAN I HONESTLY SAY I AM HAPPY OR IMPRESSED WITH JOHNNY BOYS. I was once happy and enthusiastic about recommending them but I am afraid my honest advice now can only be to spend your money elsewhere.

Several consecutive bad experiences, the final one (ever) being this evening have left me feeling cheated of my money and too annoyed to enjoy their 'food'. Four orders ago 'thin and crispy' was anything but on my $25+ order, very under-cooked, crust like a wet sock, lukewarm and 20 min later than the promised delivery time.

Three orders ago, same order placed with a very pleasant report offered on the previous order for which I was offered no apology but instead from the somewhat annoyed young lady who answered; no acknowledgement of what I had said, a loud clatter as the phone receiver was slammed onto a hard surface, then (shouted) ''this bloke reckons there was something wrong or something with some order the other week..." then ''the boss said he'll tell the bloke doing the cooking...". This time the order was early, the pizza burned, the gelati missing completely and only delivered two hours and two phone calls later and then only left on my stoop 'knock and run' style.

I am a fairly patient kind of person and after nearly a year of good to very good experiences I was prepared to overlook the previous two 'lapses' and give them another try and so, two orders ago I placed the same order again, again it was more than twenty minutes late and undercooked, presenting 'wet-sock crust syndrome', the drink not cold and the deliverer without any change.

I sadly made a firm resolve at this point not to order from them again however, circumstances conspired this evening such that another order was indeed placed with them with the now unfortunately common disappointing results.

A good friend was coming for a visit tonight and while I jumped in the shower he offered to order the pizza and without thinking I said to go ahead and just grab the cash out of my wallet. He knew I was in the habit of ordering from these jokers from a far previous visit when they still cared about their work and rang Johnny Boys with a similar order to my usual only roughly double. Dreadful result like orders one and three and a 1.25 litre drink missing. A phone call about the missing drink, a promise to deliver shortly, no apology and no drink delivered at all.

I will never order from Johnny Boys , Tower Hill again and advise everyone else: ORDER AT...

Worst customer service ever!!! I watied an hour for my food to call up and find out it was cancelled due to no staff. When I spoke to the manager apparently all she could do was say sorry and say she will make up next time. Next time is y good enough they are an absolute joke!!! Not the first time it's happened but will be the last time I go back.

My suggestion don't waste your time on this place they don't appreciate their customers! 24th of March 2022.

I ordered my meal came over an hour late. When I opened my garlic bread which I had asked for with cheese there was no cheese. Which in the past I've always done this with cheese. When I called I get the girl saying they don't do that it's not on the menu, when I corrected her with my past experiences she then asked how it was wrapped like this was a actual way to tell me I was making things up. When I got to my actual pizza it was dry and barely any topping on it. I've never had a problem with them in the past but not a happy...

The ONLY reason they dont get a one star is because their base was light and fluffy 👌 The toppings though, fml. Bbq sauce was like water and saturated the pizza and tasted cheap and generally bad, the toppings where sparse and all over the joint, meat lovers was just ham and fake sausage and cheese.. thats NOT a meat lovers! The bbq chicken was ham and chicken if i could even FIND the chicken, and then it wasnt even real chicken! And the toppings themselves were 2 inches from the edge, whats up with that? I hate leavind bad reviews but damn, you need to step up the game, take pride in your food or lower your prices by 50% because it was god awful. I ate the garlic bread more...
