KFC Chelsea Heights — Restaurant in Melbourne

I went to KFC on Friday last week and let's just say it was a nightmare of an experience for me. I only ordered from the drive through a large zinger box. It would have been at approximately 9-9:30PM that night. We left the drive through and once we were already on the road and started to eat my food that I ordered, first of all the wicked wings weren't even hot but more on the a bit warm but overall cold side including the burger, the wicked wings were really spicy and also I could tell the chicken was not fresh and must have been out for quite some time.

I have gone to every other KFC and I swear I have never had this experience with food. I had the food and a couple of hours later, whilst going on a night drive with my boyfriend, I started feeling really sick from the food. My boyfriend was driving but did not have any of the food luckily. I told him to pull over and lucky I did because a few seconds after that I started vomiting all the food I had eaten. And this happened on multiple occasions throughout the night that I had to tell him to pull over due to food sickness and poisoning I had gotten. I could not call KFC that night as when the incident occurred was after KFC's operating hours at approximately 12:30AM-1AM in the morning.

I was both not happy with my experience with the food but also from KFC being one of my most like fast food meals to have when I get takeaway it has now become to being one of the least just from that experience. And because of that it has made me not want to eat KFC anytime soon. I am truly not happy with this experience and this could have ended a lot worse for me and others who ordered food from that KFC that night. You guys need to do better to avoid people from getting sick from the food. Just...

I can remember 3 times that I've been to this KFC since moving to Chelsea.

The first time I ate here was in an afternoon and service was fine, food was alright, memory's a bit vague, but not too shabby.

Second and third time was in the evening, around 6-7pm, and boy can I tell you it's a laughing stock at those late times.

The second time I didn't even order, as I wasn't even acknowledged by the staff, who were mucking around at the front counter for several minutes when I was the only person waiting to order, so I left to go and buy Maccas instead, still being ignored by the inexperienced workers.

The third time was tonight, so I can tell you everything that happened in the 40 minutes I was there to witness. Ordering managed to be actually doable this time, and fairly quick I must say, so it was an alright start for team KFC. However, things quickly turned to dust as from the 20 minutes me (and my dad) were waiting for 2 Zinger Burger Combos, there were at least 4 complaints about receiving wrong orders, including a poor old man who's hunger and patience couldn't take it any longer. Even after we got out meals and sit down to eat, there were even more people exiting and then re-entering the store to deliver the barrages of complaints. As for our meal, firstly, my dad managed to snag a wrong order gone right with a banging free large drink upgrade. Yush! The food were, ehh-worthy. Burger seemed fresh at the start but tasted quite brick hard at the end, and the chips were past their cooling phase and a tad soggy.

Needless to say, I would like to thank the staff for making me experience my first Gordon Ramsay's "Kitchen Nightmares"...

Ordered a family feast and other bits and pieces tonight. Went to the store to pick it up and oh wow, the service and atmosphere was less than average. The two boys at the front preparing meals were too occupied chatting away with each other and their friends who were kfc workers but in the dining room (either finished shifts or on a break) but it was very clear they were giving free meals away lol. One teen entered the store with ice cream and passed it onto the boys behind the counter and the boys went about eating it while preparing food. One of them was alternating between eating that and munching on chicken as he was preparing food. To top it off, they had prepared half of my meal and when I approached the counter to see how long before the order would be ready (as it had been 45mins since the food was meant to be ready) and they said they were waiting for original chicken. Finally when the chicken was ready, the guy was about to pack in 2 large chips that were part of the order except that they sat on the counter for 20mins. I asked him to prepare fresh chips which he did but popcorn chicken and spicy chicken fillets were placed in the bag. To top it off he placed cold coleslaw in the same bag as hot food. I didnt bother saying anything as there's no point. The chicken was gross and greasy, chips had too much salt on them and popcorn chicken was cold as it sat on the counter for 20mins whilst they waited for the chicken. Not a good experience overall. Won't be ordering...
