I do not recommend ordering delivery via the KFC app as you have limited recourse if the subcontracted service don’t deliver. We paid $72 direct to KFC Yarraville for a family meal that was stolen by the subcontracted DoorDash driver. DoorDash couldn’t refund us as the payment was to the store and the store denied any responsibility despite accepting the payment and subcontracting the delivery to DoorDash. DoorDash were kind enough to lodge a claim for a full refund from KFC Yarraville online on our behalf, but the store themselves would neither remake our order or provide a refund when we explained the situation and requested either over the phone.. We have been KFC Yarraville customers since the store opened and, until today, have always picked up our orders ourselves, but we won’t buy from that franchise again in future. I suggest that if you are going to order a delivery that you use the delivery services app instead (eg order via DoorDash/Menulog/UberEats direct). Read moreI came there on tuesday and ask for the promo about the cheap tuesday, because I saw on KFC’s facebook page, that it’s back. I ask one of the staff, and he relayed the message o the manager(which is actually hear and saw me first, when I came in the store but pretending to be busy, even if I am only the customer & no body waiting on the drive-thru) but when he looked at me, I smile and then he doesn’t say anything to me, istead he look back to the staff and just moving he’s head left & right(it means no, I don’t know exact term), then he move along. I am not being sensitive, I know alot of happenings in a store, cause I’ve also work in the fast food chain. My point is, if the customer is asking politely, does he or she deserves in return? If the customer is rude, do you give him/her also what he/she deserves?... Read moreMy entire burger feast was cold. I know I ordered at 9.45pm but I still paid full price for my food. I'd I wanted cold chicken I would have just gone to Coles. The staff working (young Asian girl) complained everytime a new order came in or when a new car came through the drive thru.
This is the 2nd time this has happened to me, the first time I accepted as a mistake, but twice in a row within 2 weeks? That's not a mistake, that's when it becomes intentional.
I've now lost my trust with this KFC, and will no longer be attending this KFC for food or drinks and would much rather walk down the road a few hundred metres to either Coles or even McDonalds.
