Lazy Moe's Melton — Restaurant in Melbourne

Went out to Lazy Moe’s tonight for dinner and had a very subpar dining experience. The waitress was great. Very friendly. The food was of really poor quality; however, it was edible. The Mac and cheese Parma looks like a cheap version of Kraft Mac and cheese with extra cheese put into the sauce and still managed to taste like floury rue and not cheesy at all. The schnitzel itself was not cooked properly. The salad that comes on the side looked old. The lettuce was wilted, the orange looked like it was sitting in the fridge for at least a day or two and the cucumber looked the same way. 4/10 The paella tasted like the rice was precooked and heated up in a pan and became overcooked and mushy. The mussels had no meat in them at all as well as the clams. The empty shells were placed on the plate which i thought was strange. Different story if they had meat in them. The meat wasn’t even in the rice so not sure what happened to it. The other seafood (calamari, prawns and scallops) had a very fishy frozen seafood taste. 4/10. The food came out really quickly which makes me thinking everything is premade and warmed up. It was giving large American chain restaurant. When we made a complaint they didn’t seem to care. Just your generic sorry about that. That’s okay. We just won’t be spending our money there anymore. The quality of the food is not there and I would much rather spend my money on a small local business who appreciates it much more and where the quality is so...

So Ive been to this particular chain of last more a good 3 or 4 times in the past pretty happy with the food but today me and one of my mates went here for some food I ordered the lazy moes big breakfast when my food came out I realised that it was just the normal bacon and eggs breakfast after explaining to one of the waitresses that I actually ordered the big breakfast they said they would just cook up the extras for me now but I said I was honestly fine with the normal breakfast and to not worry about it but the waiter who was serving me that made the mistake came out and apologized profusely and said that they were cooking up another big breakfast as an apology for making the mistake and giving it to me the big breakfast for free now why does this deserve a one star rating you may be asking yourself? Well when I went to pay the guy tried to charge me for both breakfasts and after explaining this to him only charged me for one but my mate on the other hand got charged for both and on later inspection of his bill realised that he got charged both for his and my meal pretty dodgy stuff there lazy mode you've definitely lost a customer in...

I don’t mind Lazy Moes for a meal with the kids. The kids seem to enjoy their meals. The food is presented well. The value for money is good.

Tastes exactly what you would expect from a restaurant chain. The meals are huge. I think they should offer smaller meals to those who don’t want to waste. There just seems to be so much waste and you would think they would be more mindful of this in this day and age where ppl are more aware of their impact on the environment and are genuinely trying to reduce their own waste.

Staff are always very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is clean however the toilets are horrible! The female toilet has one working toilet that has a broken lid. They have a brush next to it that looks like it’s been there for years. The floor looks like it’s cleaned with a dirty mop, the same mop for years. There is some deep dirt built up in every corner. They need to clean up the toilets. Like actually take some bleach and new cleaning tools and actually deep clean the toilets. Also replace the old lids and maybe a coat of paint. It...
