Visited this local cozy gem for a post-run solo café date. The place was buzzing with regulars coming and going, plenty of solo visitors doing their own thing, and an overall warm, welcoming atmosphere. Lots of dog traffic in the area too—perfect for dog lovers! 🐾
Tried the Eggplant Parma—crumbed eggplant, marinara sauce, shredded mozzarella, and basil on a fresh bread roll ($16). Made to order, super flavorful, and exactly what I was craving. Generous portion too—the sandwich was huge!
The staff have a great rapport with regulars, which speaks volumes about their hospitality. I also met the owners, Michelle and Mem, who were incredibly friendly and welcoming. A family-run business that’s only been open for just over a year, but it’s already built a strong community.Conveniently located next to Kooyong Station—definitely worth a visit! No surprise their Google reviews are glowing—such a...

They were so kind to our little Pookie and seemed genuinely interested in him which was so heart warmimg 🥹 We love dog people! Pooks has his first pup cup here too which was so bloody adorable! Read moreFive stars for the king behind the coffee machine, and another five for every time I’ve walked in, ordered a hot chocolate, and left feeling like I’ve just sipped liquid comfort from the hands of Melbourne’s most charismatic barista. Hot chocolate so good it made me question my loyalty to my regular cafe. Frothy, chocolatey perfection, none of that weak, watery nonsense you get at chain cafés run by people who look like they’ve never even heard of cocoa. If you want a cup of nostalgia with a side of marshmallows, this is your spot.
Bonus points for the bakery display, seriously, Mem arranges pastries like he’s prepping for a Vogue photo shoot. Banana bread that flirts with your nostrils before you even get to the counter.
Ambience? 10/10. I’ve sat, I’ve watched, I’ve judged, and I keep...
