Horribly rude staff and incredibly poor quality, overpriced food. Ordered the salmon, which was tiny, overcooked and dry. Received this “ginger lime” dressing. When I inquired about why it looked nothing like it should, I was told that it was in fact a chili dressing. A shame, since I can’t eat chili. The waiter then had the audacity to tell me that, despite the glaring omission of “chili” from the dish description, I should have said I was allergic to an item that didn’t appear to be in the dish. Zero responsibility was taken, a finger was pointed at me, and the attitude I received in return was disgraceful. I was then told that listing all ingredients in a dish on the menu is not possible. Actually, it is. Most cafes and restaurants do so without fail. These places are courteous enough to realize that individuals with allergies who are dining out have to order accordingly.

So, what can you do, you ask? Perhaps mention all ingredients - or known allergens - in dish descriptions? And refrain from being sassy to customers when ingredients that aren’t listed in a dish end up on the plate. Take responsibility for your faults and handle them with class and respect. Just a thought. Your business,...

Wasted $50.

The brekkie bowl was a big slab of pumpkin and spinach. It is supposed to have avocado and edamame beans — but nowhere to be found! Just a single spoonful of couscous, too. So in total: it is a bowl of pumpkin and spinach with a drizzle of sauce atop. I just ate the egg.

The "salmon" bagel was a funny one! It boasted one piece of salmon that barely took up a quarter of the bagel. I had to peel through 5 layers of spinach to get to it. It included two measly strings of pickled shallot. The photo shows you what is left of the bagel once you take out the spinach (spot the pile of spinach at the bottom of the box). For anyone who likes SPINACH BAGELS, give the salmon bagel a try!

Oh, and the bagel was soggy. How did you even manage that? I ordered priority delivery on ubereats and it was already soggy? Are these premade and just sitting in the fridge all day?

Nothing like a bowl of soggy scams...

The first time I went to Brother's Keeper, I was appalled to be charged a credit card fee without permission even though it was small. Once I got past that, their coffees are well made and the cafe has a really nice atmosphere to it (as long as you aren't sitting by the door).

The food is good, but nothing is of a large portion and they have no cheap alternatives which deters my repeat business. As long as you don't want a large coffee, or one with syrups I recommend the cafe for a special occasion brunch or a takeaway coffee.

Update: I’ve gone back a few times since the past review and it’s getting worse. I’ve missed trams 15min away first in line to heat up a sandwich and the coffee was barely ready second in line. The service is getting more rude without smiling and their words and I was more disappointed with ordering a large coffee (which is already small) and it was a long way off being...
