I FEEL THE NEED TO COMMENT
As a regular customer of Melrose Pizza for well over 17 years myself, I also feel the need to respond to such a vile and somewhat very distorted statement made by someone within that “party of 8” I was also present when the incident mentioned below occurred and myself have witnessed very similar situations involving the same “party of 8” individuals on several other occasions. These “party of 8” customers consistently voice complaints, and on this particular occasion started complaining from the moment they arrived at their table, from “its to hot, now it’s to cold” in regards to the heating, to the meals, once they arrived to the coffees when they were ordered and arrived, again allegedly finding fault “coffees not hot enough, coffees not strong enough, coffees to milky” with not a please or thank to be heard, bagging not only the staff but venue well within ear short of other patrons. The owner has always been warm and friendly, and is exceptionally accommodating each and every time I have been there and this time was certainly no different, until this situation with the “party of 8” escalated. The way in which this “party of 8” treated the staff was absolutely and completely unacceptable and very much unwarranted. Melrose Pizza is known for its genuine hospitality and warm customer service, and it’s somewhat disappointing to see it not only undermined in this way but disheartening by people who left their manners elsewhere. The amazing staff at Melrose have always ensured that I and others have had a great experience at Melrose Pizza and this comment by someone from the “party of 8” is really and truly upsetting I’m sure not only to myself, but to all others that are ongoing regular customers. As noted in another comment “Generally, if you haven’t enjoyed the food at a restaurant you typically don’t or wouldn’t return which is your choice and ok” staff will understand that, and again that’s your personal opinion. Decided to still continue going as we were assured the menu would be the same - whilst this is true, I have not have 1 good experience since the takeover. - missing food, EXTREMELY RUDE staff, slow service - they greet you and disappear. GOOD LUCK trying to get a second round of drinks, or asking where food is. The waitress lady with the dark hair, caked makeup and glasses, honey you need to go back and study what customer service is- YELLING and having ATTITUDE with your customers - ain’t in and not a good look. Don’t mess up the orders if you don’t want to be questioned where the food is. Waited over 45min for a Bruschetta pizza, which was a starter - when asked, “comes from a different area” - yet a main pizza came out 30min earlier - ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL - AVOID if possible - can’t speak for the take away, but the inhouse service is disgraceful- if you don’t feel like getting up to follow up on your own order and request the basic of drinks - best to stay away. No care factor for the customers - miss the friendly warm greetings for long returning customers - will avoid returning...
Read moreBEWARE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER Being a table of 8 regulars at this restaurant for almost one year now you would think the restaurant owner would value the feedback we would give about their meals - sometimes there's an occasional bad meal which we send back and swap for something else which in this day and age you would expect restautants to be fine with especially when spending $200+ each time we come. Sometimes when sending meals back the owner agreed that other people had complained also... but not this time... when we complained about the open souvlaki and sent it back due to being all dried out the owner said 9 other people ordered that night got very defensive to the point where , when we went to the counter to pay for our meal the owner told us not to pay AND NEVER TO COME BACK!! (Didn't give the option to pay just banned us!) ABSOLUTELY DISGUISTED! *BEWARE do not complain about your food here unless you want to be not only banned but then accosted by two waiters at the end when you voiced your dissatisfaction with the owners...
