It’s a cute place reasonably priced with decent food but not somewhere to go if you’re alone. I decided to go for lunch for the very first time alone today and take myself out on a date with a book. Within 45 minutes, (of me being seated, not my food and drinks coming out) I was told my table was reserved for 10 minutes time. I just had surgery so physically couldn’t eat the smashed avo, fresh juice and coffee I still had on the table in 10 minutes. Now in their defence, when I explained this the waitress completely understood and said not to worry.
I ended up taking my juice and coffee to take away and left the food.
From that point, I just felt they were waiting for me to leave and unwelcome. Not a great first experience to take yourself on a lunch date is my point, even when dining alone, give the consumer at least an hour to eat and enjoy their dine in experience.

I have driven through Tyabb over many years...but today I had business in Tyabb at Tyabb Motorcycles....wait while getting work done, any recommendations....sure they say.. "A great little cafe around the corner !"....this is where Mitch & Co Cafe come into it......what a little gem....great food, a cake selection to choose from that would satisfy any hungry hippo...watch out for those muffins....a relaxing atmosphere and attentive staff...could not of asked for more, and reasonable prices too....a great place to watch the world go by...and obviously very popular.....I'll be back, will always need work on the bike once in a while...this will be my go to....can not recommend enough......may even have to go...without getting work on the bike....again try it out,...
Read moreI have been pondering as to whether I should review but since my visit I have then visited 3 other cafes. At these cafes I was not charged more than $5.70 for a medium almond milk hot choc. Unfortunately you charge $6.50! A whole dollar more for almond milk. Most places only charge and extra 50 cents . When I addressed the expensive price the woman behind the counter clearly couldn't cope. I even ended up having to tell her to call a Cafe to check the price as she actually had the nerve to tell me that she didn't believe me that cafes in chadstone were less expensive. I then tried to diffuse the situation by looking at instagram but she was still yelling over the counter at me. Shocking customer service! I would never recommend going there cos it's overpriced and that blonde woman...
