Rattling Red Cafe — Restaurant in Melbourne

The unique design of this cafe attracted our attention and our group of 4 had to check it out. After all, how many are set in an old Red Rattler carriage. Food was simple and tasty. Not expensive either. Owners were super friendly. Not too many people early on this Sunday in November. Ordered the steak sandwich with chips. The chips were cooked perfectly though they were a tad on the cold side. The steak sandwich, nothing to write home about. No seasoning, a couple of sliced raw onion, too much salad (obviously not fresh as there were a couple of slimy leaves) and the steak was a tad fatty. The latte, easily one of the best! Sweet little spot with a safe open-area for the kids to play, with a playground and toys. Outdoor tables and chairs on the lawn in the sun. Love that there are lots of little shops spread around, especially The fairy shop- it was a gorgeous little experience, with lots of beautiful fairy...
