We had a lovely diner here tonite, we were going past and droped by last minute and they were very accommodating to seat my wife and i as well as the kids last minute. We started off with two entrees calamari and polenta chips and they were amazing well presented and came out quickly. The staff wefe very fast to clear tables, respectful and polite. They made us feel very welcome and comfortable. We then had pizzas and the gnocchi cabornara for the mains. I must say the gnocchi was on another level, fresh crispy prosciutto and beautiful home made gnocchi with a nice cramy sauce 10/10. all the food was very flavorsome and fresh tasting. The pizza was also a stand out i havent had a pizza like that anywhere in melbourne before beautiful fresh with crispy base ticked all the boxes for me. Not soggy at all like other places. It must have somthing to do with the way they are making the dough, i noticed this machine in the front and the pizza man there told me it was a flower mill, he said they are milling their own flower to make the food. INCREDIBLE is all i can say! We were so impressed we stayed for desert somthing we don't normally do and we were very glad we did. We had a nuttela pizza and a mixed berry pannacotta and boy was i suprised absolute 5 star all the way the stewed berry sause was devine the nutella pizza perfection both deserts came out with a good quality vanilla ice cream on a seperate boat witch i thought was very good so it dosent mix in with everything. We all were very impressed it is definitely going to become a regular place for diner for the future and i cant recomend this place any higher. I normaly dont write reveiws but after the experiance i had here tonite and how friendly and professional all the staff were i thought they really deserved a shout out for their effort. The place has been really well thought out and presented with a new fit out that creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We will be back and thank you for such a wonderful...

Honestly, this place would get 5 stars if it was based on the food alone. the pizza is so yum and the tiramisu was one of the best I’ve ever had. Very generous serving too. However during our dinner the following occurred: a dinner didn’t come out, we understand that mistakes happen but rather than it coming out shortly after, we had to check on it as it was taking so long and didn’t come some time after that. By then, everyone had long finished their meals. we had to prompt wait staff for cutlery, glasses, plates etc. the table was booked for 6 but set for 5. the sticky date came out without ice cream. When we asked if it came with ice cream, the waitress said no. We checked the menu after and it said it came with ice cream. we got given 12 donuts not 6 that we ordered and were told it was a mistake and we could have the extras for free (lovely gesture and they were yum) but then overheard the table next to us only received 6 rather than the 12 they ordered (oops) we constantly had to ask for the wait staff rather than them checking on us (which was annoying because of the above not going right with the meals).

Overall, the staff were nice. The environment was pleasant, and the food was honestly incredible. More training for the staff to improve customer service, work as a team and know the menu would make the experience much better.

Thanks for...

Unfortunately, I'm changing my review from five stars to three. Staff are still great and the service still very good. However, a star is lost on the food since the restaurant changed hands a while ago. There have been recipe changes to some of our favourites, resulting in some dishes not tasting as rich (lacklustre?) as once were. When asked about this, we were told it was the new owner/chef's different style wko wanted to try different flavours (which is unstandable). It appears the long-term eggplant dish has gone too! Hopefully it'll be back again. Will still give it another go, though.

What a good find. Went to Mulino for the first time and was glad we did. The venue was almost at capacity (a reassuring sign of good food), it was buzzing with chat as well as clinks of glasses and cutlery. The food did not disappoint. Instead of mains, we tried the starters so we could taste-test a number of the dishes. Everything we had was served hot, cooked the way we like and really tasty. We wanted more of their flavours but were too full.

Wait staff were very friendly, as was the young woman at the front of house. I want to particularly praise her telephone manner. When we made our booking, she was great representative for Mulino.

Now that we have found this place, we will be back - this time to try their pizzas.

Definitely...

Daniyeru's Detailed Review: Customer Service 5/5 *Service here is really good from all levels of staff. It is evident when entering the store Food 5/5 *Food here is cooked by a team of passionate chefs *They use a charcoal wood oven to bake your pizza and all the goodies *Risotto was really enjoyable, however sizes were pretty small for what you pay for *Pizza had that delicious charred handmade dough with thst unique taste and texture you get from the charcoal oven Value 3/5 *Pasta & Risotto portion was very small, despite paying near $30 for it Atmosphere 5/5 *Modern, posh venue, you would and can take your date here or just have a casual one too here. Versatile without being pretentious Overall * Would definitely return back here, but not as often as I would like to due to the small portion sizes and pricing. Would keep it for special occasions only.

I wanted to try their food for so long, but my husband always wanted dirt cheap pizza next door. Finally, I had a good excuse for a gourmet pizza. I ordered the seafood pizza served with pesto and mozzarella and the Sicilian pizza. Both tasted so delicious. The scallop and tiger prawn were so fresh, and the pesto and mozzarella combination was spot on with a tad of spiciness. I actually prefer the Sicilian pizza as the spicy ham and capsicum again were so fresh i could taste the sweetness. My husband loved the pizzas, too, except he thought the crust was a bit chewy. I didn't find that an issue. Maybe it's because we ordered as takeaway, and we didn't have it straight away. Next time, I would try it at the restaurant to prove my husband wrong.

Yesterday I visited Mulino Woofire Pizzeria and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and friendly attitude, which set the tone for the rest of my visit. The ambiance of the restaurant is inviting and cozy, with a rustic feel that adds to the overall charm. The wood-fired pizzas were simply outstanding! The crust was crispy on the outside and perfectly chewy on the inside, while the toppings were fresh and flavorful. I particularly enjoyed the Gorgonzola pizza, which was a perfect done right. Overall, I had an excellent experience at Mulino Woofire Pizzeria, and I will definitely be returning.
