Peking Inn — Restaurant in Melbourne

Never again. So, the restaurant nicely set up. Staffs helpful and very recommending but that’s where it ends. We got the banquet C Entrees can’t complain but the mains? Speechless. Not because it’s good but because I have a mouth full of salt still. Fried rice undercooked and very very salty. Mongolian beef? Wow I thought the fried rice was salty. Calamari? There was more rubber on my plate than at clarke rubber itself. Combination peking inn? was okay if you like your ingredient to be the same flavour. Now, dessert we chose the banana fritter didn’t even bother trying it after the stench of oil you can smell from the batter.

Overall, $90 wasted. The Staff was very considerate about feedback and even gave us a coke off our order, which I can say coke was the only item I was happy...

Tried because of the good reviews but was disappointed. Ordered sweet and sour chicken and the chicken was very soft and felt fake, the spring rolls tasted like frozen supermarket ones. The only redeeming meal was the honey pepper beef which still needed more pepper but was otherwise good. The decor is extremely outdated and that by itself isn’t necessarily bad but the walls were dirty, the room smelt of dust and there was a spider next to me as I ate, that attempted to crawl onto the table. I was initially planning on staying for desert but after being there for a short time I already wanted to leave. I would give this restaurant 0/5...

0 stars if I could. Every time I have ordered on Uber eats from this place, they never get my order correct. They sub out items and don’t contact you, several times I’ve gotten my honey chicken subbed out for sweet and sour pork, I am allergic to pork. If I had of had any reactions to coming in contact with the pork, I definitely would’ve risen a legal issue as it’s unacceptable to not disclose the swapping of food items placed in an order with your customers.
