Watch what you ask for, disgusted with the owners respond! Kindly see attach! I ordered 2 items from DoorDash on Monday afternoon, order took over an hour to be delivered, totally understandable there were no delivery driver available. Once food arrived, more disappointing was the quantity and quality of the food over the money I paid. After giving my review on the service, here's what the Owner had to say instead of taking responsibility. Kindly see attach pictures.
Pho was under temperature. There was no salad what so ever and cost me $20. I have had Pho from every other restaurant but not as bad as this. They charge $15 for small tiny 6 pieces of spring rolls. Totally different from the menu picture. I understand delivery partner cost more as you said but that does not mean you serve us a (small) bad portion for the money we pay. Mate, you're not the first restaurant I did online order from. The picture of the spring rolls on your menu is totally different than the ones you send me you disgusting liar, I should have took a picture of it. The owner accused me I spend 10 minutes screaming on the phone to the staff with bad words, Please see my call logged attached, 4.48 pm and its 2 mins 2 SECS call! The female staff could barely speak English and did not understand my complaint which was more frustrating. She were barely responding to what I ask her and I thought I was talking to a brick wall. But yea she understood my English very well about the bad words, yea? You funny!
I also apologies to the female staff and express I am very upset with the boss, not with her, PLEASE ASK HER THIS!!!!
To the Owner - You do sound like an arrogant human, the way you responded to my feedback instead of asking me to reach out.
I think you should work on your management skills, investigate first before accusing, and work on improving your food service.
I am not upset about the food, but disgusted with the way you reacted to my feedback! I don't know what you think of yourself. But anyways, will never order...
ย ย ย Read moreIt is really nice to have a Vietnamese restaurant in Bundoora, food has the standard taste, cutlery is clean. HOWEVER, they have NO price listed on their menu. It allows spaces for mistakes or overcharge. I do feel we paid premium/Collin Square foodcourt price in this place while nothing really stands out. It is strange though, I overheard someone ordered 2 beef and shank pho and one springroll, which only costs them $24 dollars? I could be wrong. I suggest the owner do a little investigation. (It did make me feel bad about my order $38.55 for one pork broken rice + beef shank pho+ 6 skinny spring rolls, until now I only know pork broken rice is 15, I don't know how much are the others. bf didn't bother to ask for receipt. Had they put price on it, I at least knew I had choice to pay or leave based on their prices. Now this overcharge feeling just pushes me to put the review here.)The lady who got the $24 deal came in with the receipt again and asked whether the springroll was ordered as they probably thought it was too cheap for the order. I couldn't find an incentive to come...

Pho ๐ (AUD 18) I chose beef for one bowl and grilled pork for the other. Both bowls had a decent portion, and the key thing is that the pork didn't have that typical pork smell. It was also very flavorful. The broth for the pork and beef were slightly different, and neither of them had MSG ๐คฉ. While the taste may not be the best, I still found it really delicious ๐คค.
Vietnamese Coleslaw ๐ฅ (AUD 17) This salad had fish sauce added, and it came with crispy shrimp chips, making it super tasty and appetizing. After eating it, I already wanted to go home and try making it myself ๐.
Although this place is not as famous as those in the city center, but is cheaper, and I think it's great to eat here without the need to go all the way...
