RASHAYS - Broadmeadows — Restaurant in Melbourne

I called RASHAYS customer service to ask whether the Frankston one is doing Iftar on 11th march . The lady told me only Broadmeadows and westmeadows are doing . So I told her to book 3 slots for Iftar buffet and she did and sent the details in my phone number along with timing , branch and a code . Upon reaching the restaurant , at the counter , I went there to talk that I have an Iftar buffet booking for 3 . The lady mentioned they are not doing any Iftar and that there’s no sign of booking on their system . I showed her the text from RASHAYS and provided the code . Still they could not come up with anymore . Then we sat down with normal menu . It’s a bit overpriced now unlike before . Also the membership doesnt have proper offers and is almost good for nothing . Before it used to be 10 percent off , now it’s like 5$ wallet thing . I am not even sure if I am going so what will I do with that . Even if I ever go they are going to say that it expired Anyways the food sizing were good but food was tasteless . We ordered a large supreme pizza for share between 3 of us , when we were taking slices everything was coming out but still somewhat okay . Next we ordered all chicken dishes per person , two of us ordered the chicken fillet avocado with mushroom sauce , chips and mashed potatoes and my other friend ordered chicken schnitzel with mash and chips probably . The chips does not taste like before anymore , it’s just any random chips no seasoning at all . The mashed potatoes and mushroom sauce used to be so good before but now it’s bland , no flavour . My friend who ordered schnitzel, it was fried so much that it was rock hard and he could even finish it and ate barely half . Point to be noted : it was Iftar , fasted long hours , we were definitely very hungry but the food was so tasteless . The drinks used to free refill now not anymore . Spend 150$ on what I don’t know . It was my birthday and I wanted to have Iftar buffet with 2 more of my friends and it was embarrassing and very disappointing. Also they could have called us to let us know that they weren’t doing any Iftar so that we could go elsewhere . We came all the way from box hill south to Broadmeadows because 2 years back I had an amazing Iftar at RASHAYS . Should have known better . They didn’t even bother to let me know , by the time we arrived and got to know , it was Iftar time as well , we needed to break our fast as soon as possible that’s why we sat down to eat there . Plus it wouldn’t possible for us to go somewhere else and get seats . Even local good pizza and pasta would have been a good option and pocket friendlier . Wasted money for no reason moreover it was my birthday and the dinner turned out to be a joke . I was embarrassed for my friends . I am not sure if I am coming any more . So many good places out there to get good food with this money . Also the staffs are entirely changed . They were being loud in the kitchen . Barely seeing if anyone needed anything . Listening had to call out to get their attention . Also apart from us only few tables were full before at least more than half and big families used to dine out . Used to be a different atmosphere but now it’s just sad .

Instead of opening new branches in Victoria , you guys should do better in the Broadmeadows , westmeadows and sunshine stores . I once dined in westmeadows earlier last year , it was still good back then , membership offers and free coke refills with 10% off bill was there , food quality and price was great and staffs were lovely but this time it was the most disappointing dining experience I ever...

on the behalf of my husband & my self we can not thank the wonderful team at broadmeadows Enough for their wonderful friendly service. Our daughter picked rashays broadmeadows for her sweet 16th birthday dinner. She was so happy when the friendly team surprised all of us, when they took the time to decorate her a birthday board and sing her happy birthday while they bring out her birthday cakes to our table located outside nice space. They were that thoughtful we were stunned we froze and we were that surprised we couldn’t capture the whole team coming out singing her happy birthday . It got everyone’s attention that the whole side where they located of broadmeadows mall join in singing happy birthday truly special. Was absolutely wonderful to watch this all unfold. The food came out on time for us also quick service. Food we give 5 stars all of us left very happy . This is a wonderful choice for all functions. They got you covered if you love meat or even if your vegetarian and vegans .They have variety of options including kids menus . I had the pleasure of dining at Rashays recently, and from the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. The staff greeted us warmly at the door and were quick to seat us. Throughout our visit, they were attentive, checking in just the right amount without being intrusive.

Now onto the food – absolutely delicious! I ordered the classic chicken schnitzel, and it was one of the best I’ve had. The crumb coating was golden and crispy, and the chicken inside was juicy and tender. It came with a side of chips and salad, both fresh and well-prepared. But what really stood out was the creamy mushroom sauce – rich, savory, and full of flavor. It complemented the schnitzel perfectly.
