Just had a lunch here today - Chicken Schnitzel Salad Roll and a Ham, Cheese, Tomato Toastie with a few alcoholic beverages. We were celebrating end of sickness and also some other good family news and decided instead of rushing in and out for groceries, we would sit down and treat ourselves to lunch. The food did not disappoint. A lovely little cafe in the centre of town, near all the shops, ample seating outside to enjoy the sunny weather and to top it all, great and efficient service and the best sandwiches we have had out in a long while. Go treat yourself. Stop and pause and spend some money with the local cafes that need the trade and the hard cash. Without them the world would be a much sadder place. Read moreCame in to get some coffees and was told I wasn’t ALLOWED to order my coffee in a takeaway cup if I was sitting down in the cafe because of the RUDE owners “environmental policy” that she’s made up all by herself. But if I ordered my coffee in a mug and then couldn’t finish it in the timeframe I had, THEN, I would be allowed to put it in a takeaway cup and go. What a joke. Time to reevaluate your “policies”. Rude and aggressive manner of the cafe owner. Won’t be recommending to anyone. Oh and there is another “policy” written as you walk in the door on the wall that says children need to be seated at all times when dining in the cafe, when we walked in there were 2 children walking around with drinks in their hands screaming.
