After reading some fairly average reviews mixed in with some 5 star reviews my husband and I decided to try the round about cafe for ourselves. Oftentimes I find the bad reviews are just Karen's having a whinge for the sake of whinging. Anyway, lots of parking out back and on the roadside so that was a good start. There was a notice on the door to say they were short staffed (as is every business currently) and there may be a wait on service etc. We weren't in any hurry so this wasn't going to be an issue for us but it turned out there was no wait on anything. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and seated in a good spot that was well away from the door. Thoroughly appreciated as the weather was horrid and we had our baby with us. Although we were seated directly under a speaker we didn't find the music too loud or overwhelming especially for someone like me who can get over-stimulated very easily. Waitress gave us just the right amount of time to choose our meals and drinks before approaching us. I had a latte in a mug with oat milk. Requested that it be warm as opposed to hot and that is exactly how I got it very shortly after ordering. Was a very nice coffee. Husband had a can of coke. Was given the option of a glass with ice but decided to tough it out with just a straw šŸ˜‚. For our meals I ordered the vegan breakfast bowl and added a poached egg. Husband ordered the chicken focaccia. Meals came out promptly. Both were delicious and generous. Husband can be quite picky so the fact that he said the focaccia was one of the best he'd ever had is quite impressive. On the way out we grabbed a couple of slices to go. I had the choc peanut butter slice (Gf and vegan) and husband had the Snickers hedgehog. Both were very generous in size for the price and absolutely delicious. Plenty of GF and vegan options and menu really caters to a wide audience. General vibe and ambience was nice and we will definitely be returning.

This is a lovely little cafe we have been coming to of late. The food is fantastic - the burgers and steak sandwich are a generous size but the other meals can be smallish and a bit expensive so value for money is mixed depending what you order. The steak needed seasoning and not sure it was scotch but it was tender. If you’re not super hungry you could split the burger or steak sandwich. As someone else mentioned the burger takes some getting through but it’s delicious. The coffee is great and service is speedy but as others have said, the staff are a bit rude (sorry!) and despite the sign saying there is table service, there isn’t. I do find it a little pricey for a local cafe - options are in the $25-30 range, and would love some more options in the under $20 range such as toasties or focaccias for lunch. They do have some in the window but they are pre wrapped and limited in range. For my son and I to have the burger, steak sandwich and coffees it was about $80. Try to get an indoor seat away from the door on cold days :)

Brunch turned into late lunch… for basic food waited over 2 hours for 3 hash browns with little toddler unfortunately. I do not leave reviews but this was a must! The scrambled eggs on toast arrived with no cutlery provided to eat it with. Had to grab from another table. One meal arrived as salmon bagel (was not even on the menu) so had to wait again for the ā€˜menu ordered’ bagel. Staff were offended when we asked about the wait - an hour and a half after ordering and not getting food - all it would take was some communication that their kitchen staff are not able to produce food in large quantities and there is a 2 hour wait so we could decide to go somewhere else or go for a walk. $19 for this simple yet fatty and overly salty bagel and 2 hours …. Would not recommend.

First time here went for breakfast at 9:30 am, There was a line to the counter and a few empty tables inside that all had plates from previous customers. I figured they were understaffed and decided to clear a table, take the plates up to the counter and set my family up, high chair ect. Asked a staff member for a menu and i was told ā€œyou supposed to go to the counter and ask to be seated, then you will get a menuā€ Staff member was obviously in a mood by her tone and the look on her face. If there was a sign at the entrance instead of at the counter, i would be ok with that. What i would love is a staff member to be greeting us and seating us as we walk in the door because thats the service we received when going to another cafe once we left because it was just a bad vibe. All other staff looked friendly, i think we just got unlucky but we...
