Yummy Pizza and Kebabs - Frankston — Restaurant in Melbourne

New to the area and trying out the local pizza shops. I ordered a thin crust Margherita pizza. I'm not dissing others reviews of this place, but my Wednesday evening dinner no homage to the future Queen of Italy. Tomato passata base was lacklustre, too much cheese that may be the culprit for the sans crisp base, providing a full 10 on the sag-o-meter. A sprinkling of dessicated oregano provided punctuations of dried herb flavour. Generous grease spot in the box. I ordered and picked up from the shop. Service was prompt. Premises is rudimentary, not particularly suited for dining in. Looks to be fairly clean, but the rend assunder upholstery on the waiting chair does not create favourable impressions as to general maintenance and pride. Yummy Pizza located in the heart of Lakewood on Heatherhill road is my favourite pizza shop of all time, I've been eating there since I was a kid and the pizzas there are amazing. I love there Yummys Special pizza the most but all there pizzas are great. The tomato sauce is beautiful on there pizzas and you can't find a fault with anything. George has out done himself with his quality of food and he is such a friendly guy to all his customers it's no surprise that he has been in business for 22 years strong. If your a local you know what I'm talking about and if your after a great pizza I highly recommend having a slice (I personally eat the whole pizza myself lol) every time I'm in the area I have to grab one even if I've already eaten there's just no beating these guys in taste. 5 out of 5 stars keep up the amazing work George your pizzas...

Paid $15 for an hsp. What is this??

Chips were “okay” if that.

Meat was so tough and fatty it was hard to eat.

The garlic sauce was legitimately like someone put a whole garlic with some mayo and went yep. That’ll do.

The size was tiny. When he said it’s one size I looked at it thinking it was going to be filled to the brim. It had hardly anything in it.

The annoying thing was I got two of them for me and my partner and she threw up a little after eating some of it.

I can’t say the pizza is bad coz I’ve never had it. But the HSP’s are terrible.
