Ok so I am a past Restaurant Manager for schnitz and many other restaurants over my time so I might be a tad too harsh sometimes.
Walk in to a freezing cold restaurant for starters.
No acknowledgement we were at the restaurant counter not even a smile or a won't be a moment. Staff looked up and head back down straight away.
When someone finally came over got a hi how are you.... normally you stop what your doing to serve a customer but no she continued to put the bin bag in the bin.
While taking my order nearly $80 worth not even one upsell attempt or recommendation on meals and so forth.
Then hearing salad bar incorrectly made a burger on the table behind spiked my interest on how they would deal with it... the girl was apologetic but.... didn't ask if it was an allergy related issue and then staff just removed the items out re sauce had a sook over it and sent the burger out.
And some music playing would not harm its to quiet.
For the food..
Chips as always great, nuggs always a hit with the kids, son enjoyed his burger but the wife said the salad was...
Read moreThere was 3 girls, however i only remember Taylor and Hannah's names, who took my order and took me through the dietary guidelines, they were so kind, and so accomodating of my families food allergies and my particularly difficult order when coming in close to closing time. there was a girl with blue hair who was being quite disrespectful , she swore and was talking badly about myself and what i had ordered, talking about how inconvenient i was to her. Read moreThe two stars are simply for the food. I love schnitz but visiting this branch was a terrible decision. While the tables sat with crumbs and I stood at the counter for 5 minutes feeling like I'm disturbing a riveting conversation about how the girls are shopping. This happened to 2 other patrons after me. legitimately, the only reason I am typing this is so the owner knows and can do something to uplift the standards so clearly not cared for by this team of staff members. If this was my business I'd be furious, imagine listening to a bunch of girls talk school yard while your customers were not served and the place needs a wipe down. Staff needs a team leader...
