Scott Street Fish & chips — Restaurant in Melbourne

Very negative review unfortunately. When i was ordering it was very apparent that the employees behind the counter did not care that there was a line of people trying to order as they continued to discuss random topics about both of there personal lives they also seemed to completely disregard the number of people waiting for orders they already placed.

They also did not seem to care about Personal hygiene with the food they were handling and continued to look at customers with disgust and sighs when people rightly starting getting upset about the wait times.

After eventually getting my order around 30 minutes after ordering i get home to find over half the order missing. After seeing what the staff was doing at a slow point in the day i dreaded to see what they were doing at a rush hour. Figured it wasn't worth the effort of going back. Haven’t been to Scott St Fish and Chips for a long time. We’ve been going to Frilled in Melton Sth. Tonight we decided to go closer to home, Scott St. Very disappointed! 3 pieces of grilled fish = $27.00. Now that’s okay if you’re getting value. We got 3 pathetic pieces of fish, one parcel had someone’s short black hair included. Thanks for that! NOT! Not bloody happy! We’ll travel to Melton Sth in future. Not good enough. I understand that everything has gone up, I get that, but be bloody reasonable! Either make the pieces of fish bigger or prices cheaper and keep your bloody hair...

We have been going here for years and everything has always been perfect. Today we ordered...amongst other food 14 potato cakes. They were all a quarter of the size they used to be. I can understand things are more expensive these days but that is ridiculous. Will be trying another store that sells potato cakes...NOT potato bites.
