Thai Delight Restaurant — Restaurant in Melbourne

When i go to a restaurant i have my safe picks cause you think that can't muck those dishes up. My safe picks in a thai restaurants are a green curry or a Massaman Curry. Now normally i don't do reviews but what i got here today i have to put in a review for. I ordered a Massaman Curry and Curry puffs. I'll start off with the best part of the meal Curry Puffs (beef) 3/5 I got four for 10.50 + service fee (Delivery) These at least were not bland i could taste them however the size of them left you wanting more. They are about 2 -3 bites size each for me and i have a small mouth so i imagine someone could just eat it in one bite if they wanted.

Massaman Curry (Beef) 1/5 $24.50 + Service fee (Delivery) This is probably the worse Massaman Curry i've had in my entire life. Its like they made the curry and just dumped a huge amount of coconut milk in it. There's no flavour its just bland ( i guess if you really like coconut milk go for it). Did they forget to put spices in it or did they try to cut costs by adding in cocunut milk.. The carrots and potatoes are not cooked through, you can hear it crunch when you bite into them when they should be cooked through and soft. The beef is chewy and also has no flavour. The portion they gave i believe is enough to feed two HOWEVER if you looking for curry to mix into your rice, you will be looking for more curry (not like you will taste much of it anyways) as its not enough to mix into your rice

By far one of the best Thai places I’ve ordered from, I ordered in tonight & I am impressed. I’ve got to say I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of veg in the stirfry as most Thai places tend to use 2-3 different veggies then fill them with Asian greens.

I ordered the vegetable cashew stirfry, the vegetable spring rolls & satay sauce with a serving of roti bread & steamed rice. Their spring rolls are incredible & all the food was delicious. I can see myself ordering in from here frequently now that I’ve moved to Melton.

Best Thai in the region! We travel from Bacchus Marsh just to pick it up & have heard about other locals doing the same. It is consistently really delicious & they fill the take away tubs that full they are exploding, it’s great value compared to other Thai restaurants that only fill them half way for same price. They are also so accomodating with gluten free, I have trouble finding any local Thai place that will adjust their curries so that they are GF. Sometimes we eat in and it’s a very nice atmosphere & great fast service. Keep up the fabulous work...
