A Hidden Gem in the Mountains A Must Visit Dining Experience.
Tucked away in the embrace of the mountains, this charming restaurant is one of those rare finds that you almost want to keep a secret but it’s just too good not to share. From the moment you arrive, the peaceful setting and fresh mountain air already start to work their magic. Ample parking and an accessible layout make it easy for anyone to visit and once inside, you’re met with a cozy, inviting dining room that feels like a true escape. The windows open up to a beautifully kept garden that only adds to the serene ambiance especially lovely if you choose to dine outside on the deck.
But what really sets this place apart is the food. Everything is homemade, and you can taste the care in each dish. The meals are simple in the best way; no unnecessary frills, just beautifully balanced flavors that speak for themselves. There’s a certain flare to the cooking here that most of us couldn’t dream of replicating at home. Whether it’s the hearty mains or the daily selection of pastries and homemade cakes, each bite feels like a warm hug from someone who truly loves to cook.
The prices are surprisingly reasonable, especially considering the quality. This place isn’t trying to be flashy it’s just doing everything right, and that’s what makes it special. The staff are as wonderful as the food; friendly, attentive and genuinely welcoming. You get the sense they’re proud of what they do and rightly so.
If you're ever in the area or even if you’re not; it’s worth the trip. Great food, a peaceful atmosphere, and a team that clearly pours love into every detail. It’s not just a restaurant it’s a place that feels like home....
Read moreTook our Mum to Seasons Restaurant at Cloud Hill for an early surprise Mothers day lunch. My wife rang and booked 5 weeks prior, and when booking the person on the phone commeted to my wife that it was good to book this early as they can book out quite quickly. My wife asked that we would like a table near a window as this was a special occasion, and not a table near the door. We know what the views are like from the windows and know how busy the doorway can get, as we have been here before, and this was acknowledged. Much to our surprise when we arrived we were put right at the door, there was 9 of us. We questioned why we couldn't be near the window and were told you need to book early, which we said we had and been told it was good that we booked early upon booking. While discussing this with our group, the management must have heard us and came over with the booking ledger showing our booking, which was hand written in grey lead and then walked off shaking his head. On top of all that, the door continuously was left to slam shut each time someone or a staff member walked through, which almost seemed exaggerated as one staff members went through what seemed like every 60 seconds to wait on about 5 people outside. And each time that door was opened it was like an Arctic blast of cold air. The food was great, our server was good. As for the senior staff and management, could I suggest a course in hospitality or take a holiday and reset your attitude. Most likely won't be back, what a disappointment for our Mum. I consider my reviews to always be fair and explain the situation if I should give a...
Read moreWe came for lunch today for my birthday and it was such a shame that we did. Service on arrival was hurried and we really had to insist on not being hustled along quickly, instead trying to go at our pace, and not theirs, especially given that there was no need to hurry diners, given the many available tables. The wine list was very underwhelming, as was the glassware and the plastic-coated menus and placemats just gave off the cheapest feel, and really didn't match what you would expect from a garden setting and seemingly elegant environment. The menu was by far the most disappointing aspect, with really basic dishes that can be pumped out quicky, and that was what we got. My partner's pork belly was just ok but the cabbage accompaniment was tragically dry and lacklustre, and I ordered the prawn linguine and nowhere on the menu did it say that it came drenched in pesto, and nowhere have I been served such a miniscule serving of pasta, especially given store-bought pasta is so inexpensive. We had wanted to spend time over coffee, cake and more wine but we went elsewhere after realising this was not the place to appreciate good food, plus it was going to cost an additional $25 for us to look through the gardens, which we hadn't realised, but perhaps...
