Olinda Playspace — Attraction in Melbourne

📍Olinda Forest Playspace Free Scenic Playground and I reckon it's one of the best in Melbourne!

This magical playground is set in the forest overlooking scenic views.

It's well executed with areas for all ages There's a section designed for toddlers too! You'll find an area for water play, sandpit, a few slides, climbing areas, flying foxes, trampolines, two cute play houses, and lots of swings even for adults.

There's plenty of shade and a few picnic tables. There's a BBQ and toilets at the front of the playground and if you're lucky, you might even see a vintage coffee van.

If you want to kick a ball or play cricket , there's an oval just above the playground.

Just make sure you bring a jacket because it can get really chilly even on a 20 degree day.

Make it a worthy day trip by checking out what Olinda has to offer!

They're also expanding the area soon, I can't wait to come back! I reckon this is one of the best outdoor playground in Melbourne and make it a day trip or even a short stay because there's just so much Mt Dandenong has to offer!

A large playground in a picturesque location. There are different zones, including a sandpit, ropes course (suitable for younger kids), flying foxes, cubby houses, small round trampolines, swings and slides. A perfect spot to stop by if you are visiting the Dandenongs with kids: they can burn off energy while you relax and enjoy the view! It was very busy when we visited, and all the kids seemed to be having a ball. Really amazing space with lots of things for the kids to do.

There is a water play area, sandpit, slides, balancing/climbing area, trampolines, play house and of course, swings. The ground is also very well padded.

There is plenty of shade and I counted 8 picnic tables. There is also tonnes of space to put down a picnic blanket or fold up tables and there are public bathrooms available!

For kids that want to kick a ball around, there is an oval nearby as well.
