Let’s just say it straight - what an amazing taste of Vietnam. I’ve been to Vietnam and had banh mi from the south to the north, in street stalls (my favourite) to the more franchised types and I’ve got to say this matched my experience. Store: I’ve driven past here a thousand times and had never seen this place but on reflection you can’t miss it. It’s a neat, clean and cool setting, with decor to match the Vietnamese feel (even with the COVID-19 effects). People: the ladies at store front were friendly and welcoming (even though they were flat out with phone and walk in orders). They understood the menu and what was delicious. On receiving my banh mi the man bringing out all of the orders was so appreciative of our support and I noted little notes of thanks on the bags for the takeaway / delivery orders. Food: I was just passing by so only ordered the banh mi with roast pork (make sure you have it with the chilli). It was absolutely delicious and I was about to turn around and order more. Not expensive and very tasty it’s very worthwhile the stop on this busy road. Thanks to the team there at so phố so good! You’ve definitely hooked this Vietnamese cuisine lover to come and try some more! Cảm ơn và gặp lại anh sớm.

The food was so good, I especially loved the spring rolls and chicken pho (the chargrilled chicken was a nice touch). I also tried the Vietnamese coffee ☕️ a little strong to my taste but the flavour was really good (I could taste the freshness, in fact everything tasted fresh and yummy 😋) oh yes also the lychee drink was so good. Food - 5/5 ( freshness and taste both) Service - 5/5 (The staff was so nice) Atmosphere- 5/5 (nice pictures and feels of Vietnam, lamps, etc)

Greta little place, lovely atmosphere, very clean, toilets very clean. Loved the back courtyard, had a very Vietnamese feel about it. Stopped in to grab a bit during lunch, had a chicken Bhan Mi, was delicious, so had a second. Service was very friendly and efficient. Would love to come a little later and have a beer in the courtyard.

So Pho, it has definitely been so good. This little restaurant is a cosy little gem somewhat hidden in Glen Iris. They do deliver, if the destination is within a 5km radius. I've only dined in once or twice, but have been to the restaurant many times to pick up my order. There is a courtyard dining area around the back as well.

The pho is the highlight for me and my family. Very tasty and yet not too overly seasoned. The food generally is good, however their broken rice is not my favourite (I still order it when I have a craving for broken rice and pork though). That is the ONLY reason why I'm giving it 4 stars, otherwise it would be 5 all the way. Unfortunately broken rice and meat is one of the staple dishes and IMO theirs can be improved.

The staff are excellent and very helpful. This is the attention to detail that these guys have: when you get your pho delivered, it comes with the broth in a separate container, with a little note that tells you what to do (heat up broth, pour it over raw meat) if you are uninformed.

There's not much not to love about this place, I can see that they have a lot of happy customers whenever I'm there. Count me in as a happy...

A refreshingly positive experience despite first impressions.

Although I entered the store during a not too busy lunch time, I met a fairly frigid reception — an awkward wait until anyone noticed my waiting, followed by curt and somewhat impatient responses to my queries about their options. I ordered a meagre two rice paper rolls, which although not unreasonably priced, I was then told would take 15 mins — hardly the "in a hurry?" option advertised out front.

Thankfully, it in fact took only about 6 minutes. While still not speedy, it was compensated by the excellent freshness and taste of the food. Both the meat fillings and the vermicelli had clearly been cooked fresh, and the veges were similarly crisp. The construction of the roll was slightly clumsy — one roll had not been sufficiently soaked on the open end, so that it was still hard — but flavour trumps these minor aberrations.

Some better service would've rendered the experience an...
