As locals, we regret to say that we didn’t have a great experience dining at Station House tonight. It took some time for someone to come and give us the menus and water while people sitting next to us were served straight away even though they came in after us. During the meal, one of the waitresses kept coming to clear our table without asking if we had finished the food. We had to tell her we hadn’t finished yet. She also came to take the glasses (still with water in them) away from the table before we got up to leave, this time she did kind of ask but only after she already touched the glasses. The waitresses also used their hands to pick up and transfer the garlic bread and the last piece of the pizza onto another smaller plate on the table. May I suggest that you ask your staff to 1) ask the customers if they have finished before clearing the table 2) do not pick up the food with their hands once it is served...
Read moreMy husband and I visited last Sunday as we had a lazy night, I am from the food industry and I normally cook at home as mine is always better ;) We ordered the arancini, green peas salad, hot olives and two types of pizzas. I did not except to be surprised the way I was, I am super picky with my food as I know how much everything cost to make and how to make those Items. From start to end the service was perfect! The table was set perfectly, everything was clean pink Himalayan salt flakes on the table (as should be) the waiter asked the right questions, food was out warm, Arancini's were moist and crunchy on the outside. peas were steamed to perfection everything was within price perfect and generous amount of food was placed on the table, PIZZA! I have not seen this type of dough since I left my home country! Thank you! I know now where to finely eat on my lazy nights

Despite the quality of the food, the atmosphere was marred by the unprofessional behavior of the owner or chef. Our toddler inadvertently made a mess, as toddlers often do, and instead of understanding, we were met with rudeness and reprimand from the owner. While we understand the importance of maintaining cleanliness, we were taken aback by the lack of empathy shown towards our situation. Moreover, the refusal to accept payment after the incident further soured our experience. We left a generous amount $100 for 2 pizza and 2 juice to cover the meal and express our dissatisfaction with the handling of the situation.
