T'Gallant Pizzeria — Restaurant in Melbourne

For some reason T ‘Gallant wouldn’t take a booking. This resulted in our group having to wait an hour for lunch. As when it rains their seating capacity is halved.

Which wasn’t a major issue because we just did a wine tasting while we waited. Unfortunately this quickly became crowded and as a result despite paying for a wine tasting which was supposed to include 7 wines fell 4 wines short.

The food was pizzas which were okay but given they are $35 I expected a little bit more. As they are pre made they also aren’t able to substitute any ingredients on any pizza which is a shame.

I think overall this place is okay but given how many other wineries are near by I would avoid it and try a smaller winery. Incredibly warm and friendly host that found our family the perfect table to enjoy the most wonderful scenery and food today. It was peak time, New years Day, and extremely busy. Yet Shaz was cool,calm, and collected, working her magic to accommodate us with only a short wait. Everything was perfect, the food, the wine and view of vines. It's been years between visits, and we loved it all over again. Especially Shaz, she was amazing. It's so lovely to see such genuine and excellent service return after the challenging couple of years within the service industry. We will definitely be back! Chuffed to see this place back and buzzing with new energy! There was a big T’Gallant sized hole in the area while it was being sold and refreshed. This spot has always been an accessible go-to for groups looking to share a meal without breaking the bank and - it remains top of the list for that. Grab some of their fantastic pizzas, soak in the beautiful view, and enjoy the friendly atmosphere. I’d recommend exploring some other places for wine but this is perfect place to go at the start, middle or end of your Peninsula journey - still nothing else to match...
