Telex Pizza — Restaurant in Melbourne

I got a Mexicana pizza; the pricing was decent for a family pizza. The shop itself looked like your average local pizza place. It appears to be the usual “mom & pop” pizza place. The pizza smelt and looked like your average local pizza place. The vegetable toppings all seem to be canned. The meat is probably of a similar quality. While eating the pizza, I found myself biting into off tasting parts. I would guess this was old/off pepperoni. At first, I thought it was just a once off and continued, but eventually realized this was present throughout the pizza. This has put me off ever coming back. If I didn't experience the off/bad tasting component I would have rated a 2.5. As this is a what you see is what you get...

I came across Telex Pizza in Bentleigh East purely by accident, and I’m so glad I did! The food was excellent, and the pizza exceeded my expectations. The texture was perfect—well-cooked, with just the right balance of crispiness and softness. Unlike some pizzas, it wasn’t dry at all, which made each bite flavorful and enjoyable. The toppings were fresh, and the overall taste was fantastic.

It’s always a pleasure to find a local spot that delivers on quality, and I’m happy to have discovered a place nearby where I can count on a consistently good pizza. I’m already looking forward to my next visit and can’t wait to try more from the menu. Highly recommended for anyone...

I recently placed a large bulk order from Telex for an event, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. The team was incredibly helpful and organised from start to finish, making sure everything was timed perfectly and arrived fresh and hot.

The pizzas were a massive hit — generous with toppings, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. Everyone kept asking where they were from! You can really tell they use quality ingredients and take pride in what they do.
