Had the best Mul-naengmyeon. Nothing beats freshly made noodles, the texture was perfect and the cold broth was so delicious, I could eat this everyday.
Everything we had was delicious and the service was top class. They grill the meat for you to perfection so you can sit back, relax and enjoy your meal. The meat was soft and tender. The chicken was juicy and crispy. The yukke - beef was fresh and paired beautifully with the refreshing pear and creamy egg yolk.

Read moreI just want to share my recent experience at The Galbi, one of our favourite barbecue restaurants in Melbourne. We don't visit often, but we were excited to have dinner there today. However, there were a few issues during our visit. When we arrived, the staff couldn't find my name in the booking system initially, but eventually, they found it and gave us a big table. However, when I inquired about sharing the table, the staff member simply said "Yes" and walked away without providing an explanation. Despite the fact that there were more than 5 empty tables at 5:45 pm on a Sunday, we were informed that we needed to share. I learned that sharing the table was not necessary only after speaking to another staff member. It would have been better if the restaurant had clearly communicated its table-sharing rules to customers.
Furthermore, there was an issue with the timing of the food. The staff member put some mushrooms on the heat before our meat arrived at our table, which resulted in the mushrooms burning. I had to take them out. Additionally, the meat arrived last, when it should have been one of the first items served. This seemed unprofessional.

We opted for the à la carte beef and marinated pork belly. The perfectly charred flavor added an exquisite touch to our meal, while the accompanying salad provided a truly refreshing contrast. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the impeccable service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our experience was top-notch. We even had the pleasure of chatting with the manager and a staff member as they cooked our meat, and their warmth and friendliness added an extra layer of enjoyment to our evening.
