1st time visitor as we're from Geelong and looking for a cafe to have breakfast ,we found The Goodwill Cafe and was not disappointed. Great food with great service , we noticed it was a popular cafe, with locals popping in for coffees, etc, and the owners knowing the names of their regular customers, which is a great indicator that the food and coffee must be good. we had the Egg Benedict and Spanish omelette with our hot chocolate and latte, and if you want something fast, enjoy their pie and sweets or pastry options pies, sausage rolls ,sandwiches. over all the reviews, I recommend stopping in for breakfast or coffee or a pie .

Stopped by for a quick brunch, but the options were limited. I ended up getting a savory scroll, which was a bit overpriced in my opinion. The salmon dish, however, was delicious, and I loved the bread—soft brioche slice.I also ordered an iced coffee, expecting it to be coffee with ice chunks, but it turned out to be more of a coffee frappe. They should clarify that on the menu to avoid any confusion. Smoothie taste a little artificial, maybe because of the syrup around it. Overall, it’s not a bad spot, with plenty of cakes and pastries on display. The total cost for our meal was $50.

This Cafe is a gem for sweets lovers and hungry hikers! We visited twice after walking in Lysterfield Lake park and both times were spoilt for choice - delicious pastries, biscuits, smoothies, pies, all very reasonably priced and top quality. Their caramel and coffee eclairs are heavenly. The coffee and tropical smoothie were great and "pizza" bakery style also tasty. Service is smiley and friendly and very efficient. Highly recommended and you cannot go wrong here.

New staff member (blonde person) is incredibly rude, and during one visit had the unfortunate experience of having to interact with them multiple times.

They Insisted I pay 1.50 for sauce with my meal, and was then visibly upset and developed even more of an attitude when the manager came over asking why they were charging me for sachets of sauce for a sit down meal.

When I asked for a bottle of tap water, they came out with a glass of water and advised I was welcome to buy some water from the fridge. I clarified my request and with visible irritation they came back with some tap water

Honestly a lovely cafe, good well priced food. But I hope management see this.

One person with an attitude problem will negatively effect this otherwise lovely business, ruin the otherwise kind friendly atmosphere and ensure people...
