I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Sphere, a new Mediterranean café and restaurant, and I’m already planning my return. From the moment I saw the extensive menu, I knew I was in for a treat — and it absolutely delivered. We started with the Dolmades, a classic opener, which were tender and well-seasoned, perfectly paired with creamy tzatziki. The Honey Glazed Fried Haloumi was a standout — crispy on the outside, warm and gooey inside, with just the right touch of sweetness from the honey. Easily one of the best renditions of haloumi I’ve had. For mains, I couldn’t resist the Open Gyro Plate, opting for lamb. The meat was chargrilled to perfection, juicy and flavorful, complemented by pita, fries, salad, and more tzatziki — generous and satisfying. But the surprise highlight was the Special Lamb Gyros “Burger”. This creative twist on a traditional gyros brought tender lamb into a brioche bun with salad and chips — indulgent, comforting, and very well balanced. We also ordered the Greek Salad, and it was far more than just a side — fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor, with plenty of feta and a well-balanced olive oil dressing. Finally, the Moussaka was a hearty, homestyle dish layered with eggplant, zucchini, and potato, topped with rich béchamel. It felt like something a Greek yiayia would serve with pride. Between the warm service, the modern-yet-cozy atmosphere, and the thoughtful, authentic menu, The Sphere is a fantastic addition to the local dining scene. Highly recommended for lovers of Mediterranean cuisine or anyone looking to enjoy a delicious, generous meal in a relaxed setting.

Absolutely loved it! The food was bursting with flavour, portions were generous, and everything was super fresh. The service was warm and friendly without being overbearing. The ambience was relaxed and had a nice vibe. Perfect for both casual dinners and date nights. Highly recommend trying the Gyro plate and the hot chai. It was a total standout. Will definitely be coming back! ❤️

A beautiful venue for date night- my husband and I loved the atmosphere (not too loud to talk!) and in particular the incredible, authentic Greek food! We loved our Moussaka, Chicken Gyros and the Spanakopita, Saganaki, Baklava and Galaktoboureko were all delicious! The staff are very warm, hospitable and attentive- we highly recommend this bayside gem!
