The Sporting Globe in Richmond offers a solid blend of vibrant atmosphere, hearty meals, and a great selection of drinks, making it a popular choice for both sports fans and casual diners. Located in a prime spot, it’s easy to catch a game on one of their many screens, with a wide variety of sports always playing. Whether you're there for the AFL, NRL, or international fixtures, the viewing experience is top-notch, with clear visuals and great sound.

The food menu is a highlight, featuring pub classics like burgers, wings, and steaks, as well as some more inventive options. The portions are generous, and the food is consistently good, with the wings and the "Sporting Globe Burger" often recommended by regulars. Their drinks selection includes a decent range of beers on tap, cocktails, and a varied wine list.

The service is friendly, though it can get a little slow during peak times, especially on game days. The staff is knowledgeable and happy to help with recommendations or adjustments to your order.

The venue itself is spacious and well-lit, with a lively but not overwhelming atmosphere. It's ideal for groups, with plenty of seating options including booths and high tables. The décor is modern and sports-themed, but still manages to feel welcoming for those not as interested in the game on the screen.

Overall, The Sporting Globe is a solid pick for a casual night out with friends or family, particularly if you're looking to enjoy good food and drink while catching your favorite sporting event. Just be prepared for a bit of noise when the crowd...

I Love this place and everything about it. I came here for years before moving overseas a few years back and I’ve just moved back to the area purely to be close to this place again.

Brilliant sports bar for domestic and international events. Loads of big screens for whatever you’re into. NFL / UFC / AFL / NBA plus of course Sky Racing and TAB facilities for when you fancy a go at getting the Quaddie at Flemington.

Quality selection of draught beers on tap with some incredible specials with some pints priced between $7.50-$9.50 with will take you back to pre-Covid 2020 inflated days (ahh those were good days 😊)

Food is proper sports bar style food - think wings, burgers, tacos etc. And dare I say it, - quality stuff too. Great salad bowls and vegetarian options (cause I have a few vegan friends - but I don’t judge them lol)

But honestly it’s the amazingly friendly staff that keeps me coming back here. All of them are so welcoming and accommodating. Lovely people. Anytime I want to watch my team play they will make sure there’s a screen showing the game - AND…. They never judge when I carry on like a cry baby when my team loses (which, unfortunately - is most of the time).

And if ya haven’t already, definitely download the app to earn rewards and...

Ordering of food via the QR code or via the bar makes zero difference as to when you will get your food. The delivery of the food is haphazard at best. I ordered before my friends on the same table via the QR code, one dish came out after some of theirs, then around 10 minutes later my other dish came out. Others at my table had to wait at least 30 minutes for their food after some of the others on the exact same order came out. Meanwhile other tables around us that came in after us and ordered after us got their meals(in between the dishes on their one order) before our table. I'm not sure the kitchen has any idea how to prepare meals, my veges with butter and garlic came out after a steak that someone ordered after me! The mac and cheese side is pasta with melted cheese, no cheese sauce. The green veges had some butter, NO garlic. The wait staff we spoke to about our delayed/missing meals did not come back to us. The wait staff who delivered my friends meals offered them a couple of free drinks. No avoid this place unless their...

Sports bar with many branches around, the food menu reminds me of a certain other American sports bar that used to be popular (TGIF). We came on a Monday to take advantage of their deal on half price ribs, wings, pints and wine. We opted for the ribs with buffalo flavour, the meat is soft and the sauce is tangy and a bit spicy. We also got wings with two different flavors, buffalo and habanero. Be careful the habanero is actually spicy! The MVP Parma is your average Parma with generous serving but felt thick and heavy. Markdown on the service because it took almost an hour for our food to come out and it's not ideal with kids. Each booth has its own screen where you can choose one of the many sports channels that they have or there are some basic mini games for the kids. Food - 7 Service - 5 Vibe - 8 Price - $$
