Mazi Kitchen — Restaurant in Melbourne

We're travelling Australia and have stopped in Melbourne for a few months.

Mazi kitchen is what I'd call a Total Score, in my search for good food around the country.

The servings are a good size, and the fish is fresh. Normally, I don't order oysters at city restaurants. However, here they shuck them fresh daily, and when they run out for the day, that's it. Amazing oysters.

Owners are friendly chaps, and authentic. The young fellas working there are good young men also, always moving quickly.

This is a proper lucky find. A family business with quality, fresh food.

I also have to call out their chips. Their chips are insanely good. Every time, consistently.

Go to Mazi, for an unpretentious, high quality feast and support a good local business.

You cannot fault this place! My partner and I go at least once a week and now we have got my Mum and brother hooked. The food is top quality with each experience - the value for money is unbeatable with such generous serving sizes. The fish is SO good it melts in your mouth as does the chicken that comes with the open plate. We are slowly working our way through the menu and so far everything has hit the spot. I had the pleasure of visiting this kebab shop recently, and I must say, the service provided by the gentleman behind the counter was exceptional. Not only was he friendly and welcoming, but he also took the time to ensure that my order was exactly to my liking. The food itself was delicious, with fresh ingredients and flavors that truly stood out. I highly recommend this place not only for its great food but also for the wonderful customer service.
