I recently had the pleasure of dining at I Love Dumplings, and I was not disappointed! The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was chill and relaxed, and the service was fast and efficient.

I started with the pan fried pork and chive dumplings, which were perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful. The pork was juicy and tender, and the chives added a nice freshness to the dish.

In addition to the dumplings, I also ordered a few other dishes to share with my friends. We had the stir-fried green beans with garlic, which were perfectly cooked and seasond.

We ordered the Steamed seafood dumplings with the Sezchuan chilli sauce, which is my favourite dish in the restaurant, however, I was a little disappointed that a $2 price increase was applied. The dish tasted amazing as always. We also ordered the satay beef, which was a bit average in taste (had much better elsewhere), the eggplant with pork mince which was delicious and some special fried rice. The staff were friendly but some don't speak or understand English which can be a little frustrating at times, especially when I mentioned to the waitress that we were still waiting on one dish, but instead she ordered the same dish for us again and 2 of them arrived at our table when we only wanted one. The background music (some awful sounding Westernized Chinese songs) was a bit too loud and was very irritating. We eat here often and are usually happy with the food, but last night was disappointing. We ordered our usual salt and pepper squid, which had a brown batter on it - not the usual light coating we're used to. It was bland and missing the slightly salty taste we usually experience here. Although the chicken and prawn dumplings were good, the Sichuan chilli sauce we had with them was watered down so also lacked the usual flavour. It was also annoying that our mains came out 10 minutes apart. We eat out with the expectation to eat together at the same time. On our visit prior to this one, we arrived at 9.15pm and was told we needed to order quickly and finish our meals by 9.45pm, despite their displayed hours stating they close at 10pm.
