Read moreWe had one of the most uncomfortable and downright rude experiences at this food truck. It was cold, pouring rain, and we were just trying to get warm under the heater which was on and clearly intended for customers. My friend had already ordered from the truck next to them, and we were in the middle of deciding what to get from this one. Not lingering, just figuring out our order.
Out of nowhere, one of the staff snapped at us, saying “this is for Turkish grill customers only!!” as if we were taking up space for fun in the freezing cold. It was aggressive, uncalled for, and completely ruined the experience. We were literally in the process deciding what to order while standing under the heater and that rude outburst made us change our mind.
There’s no excuse for treating potential customers like a nuisance. Especially when we’re standing in the rain, supporting local food trucks.
