Panda Garden — Restaurant in Melbourne

I'd give 0 if it would let me! I placed my order through menulog & had it confirmed, the money was taken from my account. At 5.42pm the app stated my food had been delivered. I had NO FOOD DELIVERED! I tried calling the store but they had the phone answer machine on so no one could make contact with them. I tried to contact menulog but the only option was the automated FAQ. This generated an email stating they'd contact me in 5 business day's! I got in my car & drove to the restaurant. The lady blamed her lack of English & told me to wait. Whilst there, another customer came in & their online order was missing also. About 20 minute's later another lady arrived & was informed about our missing order's. She said they'd refund in 10 business day's! That doesn't feed us today! I was told that the restaurant hadn't confirmed the order. I showed her my menulog confirmation. I requested the food that I'd been charged for. She went to put it through the kitchen. Came back to tell me they'd run out of meat & rice!!!! I told her she should have turned off the menulog app if they couldn't provide the food. A simple remedy! Saves the customer all of these hassles. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO PANDA...

After moving into our first home together in May last year, my fiance and I were craving Chinese food so decided to try Panda Garden. The food was so tasty, we've been coming back ever since! Panda Garden offer tasty and high quality food at very affordable prices. Our favourites are the pork & chive dumplings, Malaysian satay chicken skewers, honey chicken, lemon chicken and special fried rice. We have ordered take-away so many times (I couldn't count how many) and not once have we received bad food. We even even ate-in for my birthday and the staff were so lovely and accommodating - they made our rather large family feel incredibly welcome and everyone was so impressed with how delicious all of the food was! DO NOT ORDER HERE! Used to be Great food... My chicken with cashew was only 26 degrees when I got it, everything else was hot but due to their lack of English I was unable to complain or resolve the problem as they don't understand. I am not racist but I live in Australia where we speak English, they clearly don't wish to be part of the Australian community. The place itself is a bit run down and dated. Staff are really friendly but don't listen to you when you order... For example the dim sims I ordered with "lots and lots and lots and lots of soy sauce" had hardly any soy sauce on them. When I rang and asked them why they said that some people don't like a lot.... I used to go here a lot but I won't be back and I'd recommend you find another...
