Urban Chill Cafe — Restaurant in Melbourne

Dropped into Urban Chill for a quick drink and a bite, and overall it was a pretty solid experience. Drinks came out quick, looked good, tasted even better. No complaints there, if you're after something refreshing, they've got you sorted.

Now onto the wedges. Fourteen bucks worth of expectation met with what looked like a side portion pretending to be a main. Don’t get me wrong, they tasted fine, crispy enough and decent flavour, but for that price you'd hope the bowl had a bit more to say for itself. Maybe the rest of the serving wandered off to join another table?

Ordered & paid for breakfast & once served, I asked for extra hollandaise sauce. The lady said I could pay the $2 for hollandaise sauce once I have finished my meal which I was happy to do so. In the middle of my meal, she walks over to me with the eftpos machine asking for me to pay her $2. I stopped eating, pulled out my card & paid. I then explained that her behaviour was rude and that we had agreed to pay $2 at the end of my meal but she smiled, disregarded my feedback stating this is a cafe and not table service and went completely off topic! The sarcastic smile was the icing on the cake, not to mention the abrupt interruption whilst eating.

As i am moving to Lyndhurst I wanted to have breakfast with my 5 year old I googled and one of the places was this shop we came ordered the big breakfast with juice the ladies were very nice as she came to my table returning $5 saying she had put fresh juice not knowing i will take from the fridge a bottled ones she also got a plate and cutlery for my son the reason I am writing is it's rearly to find cafes and restaurants with staff that makes you feel comfortable like that it's was my first visit but not the last as it will be my regular place thank you...
