Waller's Bakery — Restaurant in Melbourne

My family has been buying from Wallers for years and Their products are amazing, particularly their sourdough bread and staff are usually very friendly. This morning I visited for the first time in months after moving from the area and while the bread and cakes I purchased were still the most amazing quality, I felt a bit let down by the 2 young girls working there who were whispering and giggling to each other in front of me and I can only assume that something I’d said or done was comical to them as we were the only ones there. If it weren’t for this experience I would have no hesitation of giving a 5 star review as I previously only had good things to say about Wallers, will be less inclined to visit next time I’m in the area due to this...

I'm always on the lookout for a good spinach roll and Waller's Bakery was delicious! With a hint of pepper too which is a nice point of difference to other spinach rolls. Also brought plain pie and sausage roll for husband, a jam donut and a blueberry Danish. They have a great range of hot savoury items, a tempting range of sweet treats and a good selection of rolls and loaves. Lemon slice looked inviting but just got donut. Caramel slices are nice and large with a thick chocolate slab, soft caramel and perfect base which costs about $3.81/100g.
