Wanda Catch Fish & Chips — Restaurant in Melbourne

"Crumbed fish" is like they grilled some fish, tossed it with the bits at the bottom of the loaf of bread bag, and just chucked it on a pan dry for a couple of minutes. Crumb is soft and legit just bread. Fish was dry. Chips were requested to have chicken salt but instead just doused in plain salt. The potato cake was okay but really how can one mess a potato cake up?

Very disapointed as I really was eager to have a close by fish and chips that did crumbed. I'll just have to...

The fries this time were very good and not oily at all. Colour and smell of it were perfect.

I dislike the potato cake as they were very oily and the batter was not too great. (Many of my friends disagree). Batter doesn’t taste right in my opinion and had a odd smell (maybe dark used oil or maybe it’s just me) but potato inside were perfect.

The burger patty was undercooked I took a bite and in the middle was red and awkwardly warm, threw it in the bin and moved onto the fish and chips, the chips was surprisingly yellow and not that great, the only thing I actually enjoyed was the dim sims and potato cake , I regularly visit this place, sometimes they make the food good but most of the time not so great, if you’re looking for a snack this is the place but for lunch or dinner, there’s other better...
