Chopstick Delight Chinese Restaurant 🥢 - Winter Melon Soup ⭐️ (Preorder) - Pipa Roast Duck 🦆 ⭐️ (Preorder) - Lobster w/ Garlic Butter Sauce 🦞 ⭐️ - Fried Shredded Buns 🥖 - Mor Wong - fish 2 ways 🐟 - Snow crab w/ Foie Gras Sauce + noodles 🦀 ⭐️ - Home Made Tofu w/ Olive Vegetables ⭐️ - Deep fried yam and prawn 🦐 ⭐️ - Fresh Crab Meat w/ Egg White and Milk 🍳 - Charcoal Sliced Pork 🐖 - XO sauce Pipis - Fried Vegetables with Garlic - Deep Fried Salt and Pepper Squid 🦑 - Pork Ribs w/ Peking Sauce #TB this extravagant LNY meal with my Food Fam! I have been here multiple times and quality was consistent. I enjoyed most of their dishes but there are some you must try! The pipa roast duck is my all time favourite. Skin was crispy with a hint of sweetness. The meat was juicy and succulent. The melon soup was flavourful yet refreshing. We normally eat our lobsters with ginger and spring onion! But their garlic butter sauce is next level! Remember to dip your buns into the sauce! You won’t regret it. Get the Foei Gras Sauce for a boujee option! It was flavourful but not gamy at all! This sauce paired so well with the noodles! Their homemade tofu was one of the silkiest I have had! It literally slipped down my throat! Food was at the pricey end but absolutely worth visiting!

We preordered the winter melon soup and pi pa duck. When asked if we could have half a duck they replied no as there were no other preorders to share with us. Alright, fine. When we arrived, we were served by an older male staff who looked very uninterested. When asked if they still make the olive vegetable minced pork tofu, he replied in a condescending way as if I couldn't read. He was later seen sitting on the next table looking at his phone... The table next to us knew one of the other staff, so they got the preferential treatment when their plates were piled up with bones and food wastes. Our plates plates were also piled up with the duckbones, but we were left to continue piling up the mountain.... no service whatsoever.... ok I got it... we were not regulars... When the dinner was served, we found that a part of the winter melon was a bit bitter but the rest of the soup was fine. The duck was just a bit too much for us when we wanted to try other dishes. Overall, the food quality was ok but nothing outstanding. However, when we were about to leave. The 3rd table arrived and asked if there were any pi pa duck. The kitchen said yes. Now, I thought it was meant to be preordered and we were told no one else wanted so we had to have it whole! I pointed this out as I was paying and the lady looked at me for a few seconds, and said business has been a bit quiet... goodness me... you made us ate the whole duck just to increase your sales... This was exactly the reason why your business was not that great!

A bit of a disappointing meal at Chopsticks Delight. There are more misses than hits in what we ordered. Granted, we didn’t order the “must trys” like crab w foie gras and pipa duck, but because we decided on the last minute to go there, we couldn’t pre-order anything. I thought, well, if they are famous for ducks, then Peking duck should be good?! Sadly that’s not the case at all. The duck took ages to come and it was already pre-wrapped, with way too much sauce, lettuce (rather than cucumber and leeks) and very (too) fatty duck meats. My usually Peking duck kid was not impressed. Hubby ordered truffle fried rice, which is quite nice actually and kiddo’s salty fish chicken fried rice wasn’t bad either, although not much salty fish flavour. My highly anticipated crab w egg white was a huge disappointment- it was way too salty and it tasted only of saltiness and oiliness. The char kuey teow was even worse. I know kiddo ordered it and we asked for non-spicy, but this is just dull and flavour less. ☹️☹️☹️☹️ so sad, especially when we drove so far to eat there (thankfully because we have other errands to do around the area, otherwise I would be so annoyed! 😑

A little classic Cantonese food restaurant in the area which is suitable for family with kids and elderly. They serves a truly authentic dishes with an amazing taste and a decent price. The restaurant has only few round tables for 8 and they were all full. I did not make any reservation in advanced, luckily, there was only one empty table in the corner. So, make sure to at least check before coming. We ordered four dishes, a personal seafood beancurd soup for $8, a prawn claypot with vermicelli for around $28, an eye fillet beef in Cantonese sauce, and the last was the mighty roasted duck. Seriously, they were all lovely. Perfectly cooked and decently presented. With two white rice and a pot of chinese tea, it cost $122 for three people.

Chopstick Delight is one of those mythical, suburban restaurants that unless someone brought you there, you wouldn't think to visit it. From the outside, it looks a bit run down and forgotten. Don't judge this book by its cover! Chopstick Delight is a family run restaurant that's fully booked many nights in the week by loyal customers who wish this place a secret. Serving Cantonese fare, you have to pre-book their Pipa Duck, which is some of the best in Melbourne: glazed and roasted to perfection, served on a huge plate. There's freshly steamed coral trout, stir fried and various other dishes. I could go on but consider this your tip off: if you like Canton food, you want eat here!

Nestled in the quiet neighborhood of Mulgrave, one wouldn't expect the bustling atmosphere inside this cozy restaurant! Renowned for their pipa roast duck and winter melon soup, we particularly enjoyed the olive vegetable minced meat with homemade tofu Among the other dishes we tried were the goat belly hot pot, pork spare ribs with Peking sauce, and fried taro with fish balls (?) They also offer a variety of live seafood dishes While the service wasn't top-notch, it's what one might expect in a restaurant of this caliber.
