Happy Daise Coffee — Restaurant in Meningie

Worth the small wait! We commonly stop in Meningie for a lunch and a coffee on road trips, but have never truly found a wonderful coffee until now. Having been recommended Happy Daise by a friend, we were a little put off by the number of people waiting outside for their orders on the Friday of a long weekend. We placed our orders and joined the waiting groups outside. The wait was reasonably small as the orders before ours were efficiently filled. The coffee did not disappoint. Passed through the town a few times on our way to and from Melbourne for holidays, gave happy daise coffee a try 3x but never again each time the drinks were skulling hot couldn't drink it for over 40 minutes, food was dry and had no flavour now we go to the bakery each time we pass through much better quality and safer hot drinks. I have now visited Happy Daise cafe several times when visiting Meningie or passing through. I experience each time has been consistently excellent. It’s has a cool vibe with smiling staff and every time great coffee. It can be hard in country areas to find good barristers, but this cafe has nailed it! The barista texturised the milk beautifully, and the flavour was lovely. I also love the smoothies and slices.
