Was in mt gambier for the weekend and ordered fasta pasta tonight for dinner. As a previous Adelaide FP employee many years ago, I prefer to order THE same every time I go. Tonight I called and placed an order at 8 exactly, and the girl on the phone told me that they don't do RAV VERDI PASTA anymore... Which I knew was rubbish as I had it last week, so I made her check with another staff member who proceeded to tell her yes they did have it, they just run out last week so she presumed the menu had changed. Secondly she told me the wait would be half an hour, which was totally fine, sat night, busy I get it, so my friend took me on a scenic drive to show me some things, arriving back at FP at 835, 35 mins after I placed the phone order, went in, paid for my take away, and noticed the ROSSO sitting already boxed on the top of the pizza oven, beauty I thought... That means its nearly done.... Ummmm nooooo another half hour later, me speaking to the manager, requesting a new ROSSO be made, as THAT one has been sitting there for over 25mins that I know of. More time passed, and I finally got my pasta, .... New rosso still cooking.... No cheese with my pasta ?? Really??? Not a huge deal I know, but I asked the waitress to go and grab me some and she disappeared for nearly 10mins!!
One chef??? Really... On a sat night??? Wow.... Sort it out, hire an apprentice!! The pasta is precooked and so are the base sauces... Its simply adding other requests... Which I might add, you forgot the ham in mine!!!!
If you're not hungry... Not in a rush.... Go there, but if you're like me, and could eat a horse and chase the jockey... Do yourself a favor.......

We and when I say we , I am talking a full under 14 footy team and all the mum and dads , plus a full house of other punters dined there on Saturday night . The staff on the floor and in the kitchen were unbelievable , meals were out extremely quickly and for how busy it was .... wow . The best part was the quality of the meals , my son ordered the Ravioli Milanese and I had the Chicken Caesar . Ravioli , the best pasta he has ever had , Chicken Caesar was perfect with no stress visible in the presentation , chicken was tender and just the right ratio of ingredients . To the owner , manager , service and kitchen...
Read more$24.50 for a Caesar Salad with a undercooked poached egg sitting on the top of everything drowning in Caesar dressing was not my idea of a Caesar Salad. If you can't cook poached eggs properly then boiled eggs would have been the way to go & cut down on the dressing or serve it separately. Also when I walked into the restaurant I was blasted with loud music, too loud, even for me with acute hearing loss it was still too loud (I whipped out the hearing aids to help compensate but it didn't make much difference).
