Visited Nabiac Village Cafe & Takeaway whilst traveling south along the Freeway and decided to stop off for a break. What a find this place was. Prices were quite reasonable for a cafe and food was fresh and delicious. We tried the schnitzel and gravy roll, a fisherman's basket and a chocolate thick shake. The thick shake was great! It was actually thick and chocolatey which is getting increasingly hard to find. I was impressed with the fishermans basket. Seafood was fresh and tasty with food variety. The chips were fantastic! Well cooked and well salted (chicken of course). Schnitzel roll was fantastic as well. Service was prompt and friendly despite how busy it was at the time. Food was also ready fairly quickly. We will definitely be back to try some other options (and some of the same) next time we are coming through Nabiac!

Friendly service as service is quick. They will bring to your table if eating in. A popular stopping point for highway travelling as its right beside the Pacific Highway or Pacific Motorways as our Government insists.( so they can privatise it later) Also clubs such as Port Macquarie classic motorcycle club or Taree clubs use it as a short weekday run. Good range of both hot and cold light meals. Coffee and cakes are a mainstay also. There is a restroom down the side alley way but you need to get the key off the staff and its a one seated only. Seating is available both indoors and on the front verandah. They employ local staff and the food is always fresh

Beautiful! Friendly service, freshly ground coffee and delicious cherry brownie. A perfect spot to stop on the way to Sydney. 1 hour south of Port Macquarie and well worth a visit. I've driven past hundreds of times and never thought of stopping - but will stop here regularly from now on.

I don’t often write reviews but felt this one was needed. The waitress was very condescending and spoke to us like children whilst trying to place our order. Her attitude also reflected that tone to her own staff who was taking our order successfully until she interrupted and took over. After waiting some time for our food she came outside and walked straight to us asking if we had lost anything. (At this point I hadn’t realised I left my keys on the counter). I didn’t know what she was talking about and said no I didn’t think so. She asked if my name was Rachel so I asked her if I left my bank card in there whilst starting to go through my purse to see. She told me she didn’t have my bank card and again asked if I was missing anything. I asked her how she knew my name and her response was “I don’t know, you tell me” she then said if you don’t say what your missing I can’t give it to you. It was then that we realised my keys have a keychain with my name. She then pulled them out of her pocket. She knew exactly who they belong too because she walked past many other customers straight to us. This might not sound like much but how someone makes you feel goes a long way to building relationship and regular clientele. I travel up the coast every couple of weeks and always stop in for lunch. The cafe in the street behind will be getting my business...

This cafe has so much potential ( right on the highway off ramp and easily accessible) BUT it is untidy and coffee is ver amateur. Weak and no presentation skills. We had coffee and cake. I’m sure they used one scoop coffee for both the flat white and long black. Because of covid restrictions they had excess chairs stacked in the middle of cafe. We ordered at cashier and registered then proceeded to occupy a table BUT .. we abused by the waitress who asked us to vacate until the table and seats were sterilised. We were instructed to stand 2 mts away till the furniture was wiped with a dish cloth. No sanitiser or disinfectant! Attitude.. not conducive to the satisfaction of customers. Try the organic cafe in the...
